I think we can consider this season a write off. Fire AV in the next couple weeks to give the new coach a chance to start pushing this team in the right direction.

Maybe trade a 2nd round pick for a guy like Brad Boyes... sign Ribiero in the off season. And this team is ready to go.

Had to go for repairs from a collision with Mike Smith.

It looked like Shaws hit on Smith last year. I never thought he would get suspended either but with Shanny you never know.

Keep in mind that that was 3 playoff games and Shanny said that playoff games are more meaningful when it comes to suspensions. This could be a biggie if he looks at this one the same way as Shaw's.

Goalies should be free game once they handle the puck outside of the crease for 5 or 6 seconds. Makes no sense for them to be untouchable if they're basically playing as an extra skater.

This is what makes me think that it will probably be 4 or 5 games. Which will be a complete joke! Rick Nash's hit last night isn't even being discussed by Shanahan.

To roughly quote the best tweet i saw last night: "the biggest mistake Edler made last night was no throwing on a Bruins Jersey before jumping over the boards in PHX"

He clearly lunged to get around, but with the position Smith was in near the boards Edler ended up lunging right into him.

Shouldn't have even been 5 minutes—if there's any further discipline, there's something seriously wrong...
