He needs a different stick or flex... His puck handling is awful for some reason. Puck is always bouncing off the blade of his stick.

I can't see Edler getting much. However, he made no effort to avoid Smith.

I'm all for goalies being free game outside the crease, but we all know that's not know it is.

Lucic on Miller -> No Penalty + Injury = No Suspension

Hard to stop when you've got six inches before you hit the tender and when you've pressed yourself up against the boards to try and slide by him. No where left to go really.

Mike Smith has a future in acting. He pulled the same crap in the playoffs last year and Shaw winds up getting suspended for 3 games.

haha Fosco gave me the "oh no you didn't" when I had mentioned Edler looked lost out there.

I wasn't watching, but didn't he stay in the game and then didn't start the 3rd? Lefty points out the Sedin play as well as a possible point for injury, Smith stayed down a long time there too didn't he? Whatever will be will be I guess. What's one more player out of the lineup for a couple games.

Yeah, I'm shocked he's even being spoken to. That looked like a 2 minute interference call. Hell, that could have been interference on Smith.

Me too but it's so similar to the shaw play last year, I don't know if shaw had a previous if he did it makes sense but if not then to stay consistent he has to give him 3. I think the 5 min major was justified and move on. We shall see I guess.

No way it is 3 games. It wasn't intentional but the collision itself was pretty big so since the NHL has no guts I think they will give him 1 game. But I liked what he did. We need more aggressive plays like that (not dirty). Im just shocked that they didnt take a run at Schneids after that and no one went after edler after he came out of the box.
