Ott won't happen. Rumour is he would be the next Sabres captain if they can dump Pomminville.

Unknown/unsung guy - Leo Komarov. Perfect guy for the Hawks. Hits everybody and doesn't care who it is. He causes more fights in Leafs games with physical play than anybody.

I wouldn't expect to see Vik & Bick re-signed until after the trade deadline.

Here's my take on any trade and what is traded by the hawks. We have two very good third line ceners one is shaw and the other is bolland. bolland has a history of good playoff hockey to go along with a back problem history. shaw is young and injury free with a bright future.
Add to that that sharp can play center on the second and i think bolland is the odd man out. Who the other player on the hawks that is expendable maybe froelic


Can we get a power forward for thesecond line for bollan i am not sure?

Obviously it would have to be Bolland plus Mcneil maybe...

It's hard to say. Bickell - probably because he'll be cheaper. Stalberg - 50/50. I'm in no position to really know, just a wild guess on my part.

Bickell appears to have motivation issues at times... he's worth near league minimum now and will be no more than $1.5 mil/yr so no point of signing him while he keeps playing for that next contract.

Stalberg I would re-up sooner than later if his agent and Stan are close.
