And when they actually fail at something in life? Or at work? Or at school? They can't deal. I see it often. - Kentxo
Yep. Even worse they can't even fathom failure, because all they have to do is show up right? Just be there and you're a winner. That's how they grew up. |

That makes me sick
Who cares about those guys ? A lot of them , especially that punk female dog mfer Doan choose to play in areas where hockey isnt popular so that their own personal game isnt under a microscope , Thats why guys like Hossa go on and search for the cup after they have acquired lifetime's worth of money. There should be a point for all athletes when its not about the $ but its about the ring.
Iginlia- 0
Doan- 0
Colin Fing Fraser - 2 . - mrpaulish
Fraser wandered into #2 to be fair
Doan chose a big $$$ contract over a cup...action speaks for itself, 'loyalty' or otherwise. Iginla could still at least get traded to a contender, and the Flames have at least been in the SC Finals sometime in the last 10 years. |

Respectfully beg to differ. I teach high school, and they don't even think they have to be there to win. You can email everything these days, and deadlines are nonexistent.
And we're all winners because we don't want to scar anyone's psyche. |

And that leads to the attitude of, "I showed up....now where's my prize?" Entitlement cityy. |

Doan chose to stay where he had made his home. I'm sure there were other teams offering a similar deal as to what he got this summer. |

Style points? Really?
Hawks play like this in a 7 game series, they lose - dpard
I would have to agree with the fact that if the Hawks play a good team in a 7 game series without Hossa and Sharp they are in trouble. They carried play most of the second. |

Selanne's a GREAT GUY by all accounts...
Doan is a d-bag so PHUCK HIM
and Iginla is one of my favorite athletes ever...never seen a guy who was so congenial with the media and then step on the ice and turn into a BEAST. - philco28

Did you watch the last 10 minutes of period?
I expect when you play a real good team, in their building, where they have won 12 straight, that you will face a little push.
This is called taking a punch and countering.
Tell me who has the momentum going into the third? - TrueGrit
Having any kind of interaction with you is painful.
The hawks played like absolute sh!t for 30 minutes. CC played well and kept them in it.
Get over your bad self and change your colostomy bag....head off to the shuffle board court. Be careful, i hear STDs are really on the rise in your age group |

As an assistant principal, I make sure teachers stick to our late HW policy to the letter. We have eliminated the idea that they can do 20 assigments the three days before report cards come out. |

If a guy wants to play his whole career in one place I can respect that. It's not even always so much $ over winning, sometimes they just want to try to win one where their heart and soul is, even at the risk of never winning it all. Whatever, that's their choice. I just don't get why some people think the world owes them something in the twilight of their careers. They're big boys, they made their decisions, they can live with it. |

I am only 42, but thanks for the tips. Buddy we are yin/yang. We are not a 500 team all over the map, the Hawks deserve more respect than to flip out and abandon them when they are actually challenged. What is most impressive is their tenacious competitiveness. If you can't see it, or you want something else, then so be it.
Catch you later, headed for midnight bingo. |

Well just like many a free agent player & agent combo, Doan and his agent used those other offers to inflate the amount the Yotes coughed up. Standard fare.
And that's great for him to get such a cozy offer from the Coyotes (from the league) to play it out for that organisation, he'll go down with the leaky ship he started on. No cups, end of story. |

Al Cimaglia @AlCimaglia
It's beginning to look like Q thinks a lot less of Carcillo than Bowman did when he signed him to a 2 yr ext.- after 2 periods #13- 2:26 TOI |

Yeah so they got "out-Hawked" on that first one goal that we have seen them score many a time.
I love all the hitting and all the being hit.
Just watch when the Ducks dee starts taking them and Californian roller hockey boy Etem...
I wtching the game on DVR and problaby not where you all are in real time, but don't think the Ducks are gonna hold court in the Hawk's zone.
It is great for the Hawks to see some tough pounders and quick flyers...it will keep them on their toes...and they will have a few extra off, win or lose.
