We lose focus. Same thing happens with Miller in net, except they lose focus with 20:00 left on the clock in the first. - sbroads24
I was about to say for the whole middle 20 minutes of the game. |

I hope Ott was auditioning for Scotty Bowman who was in attendance at that game last night. I could see Bolland, or Sharp, or any number of prospects going the other way.
His value will never be higher... - Return of the Roar
You could see Chicago trading us Sharp for Ott?
Um, ok....
I love Ott, but sign me up for that! |

solid point... I think that Miller is playing his BS I don't trust anyone to be where they need to be game again like he did last year... he plays out of the net and tries to over guess every single play....
I think he is also exhausted and the whole "sinus" thing real or not could be catching up to him....
I think we should look into trading Miller.. but i doubt we get adequate back right now. Who is looking for a goalie right now any way that would want Miller over Bernier, Schnieder/Luongo, or Bishop/Lehner any way. - JVince11
Miller just needs more time off. And I think lately he's just been disgusted with the teams general play.

Copied this from the last blog sorry. Only because I am confused and I would just like to understand the disdain it sounds like b&g has for Enroth.
Miller's made a handful this season that have been better. You're guy didnt get all of it.
- theblueandgold
Dude why all the hatred for Enroth?
You make it so so obvious that you have an agenda with him.
Enroth made a great save and many very good ones to allow only 2 goals. Even Hab fan can see that.
I guess I don't get it.
edit : I just rewatched the highlights on NHL.com and wow Enroth had a great game. I suggest you watch the highlights again . Just in the 2nd period alone Enroth was large! That final save in the dieing seconds whether he"got all of it" or not was an OUTSTANDING save. Geesh give the kid some credit he has played very well his last 3 starts. |

does Enroth's recent perfomances make Miller expendable? - BuffaloKyle
I would suggest Enroth's performance along with Miller's rants and contract status make him expendable.
At this point, I would also say that we would not necessarily require a goalie back in return, given how well Leggio is playing in Rochester. Roll 2 goalies and play the hot hand, like other teams have been doing for years now. Look at how Chicago uses Crawford and Emery, Anaheim with Hiller and Fasth, or St. Louis with Halak, Allen and Elliott.
Trade Miller and get what you can, as he is gone at the end of next season. |

This is exactly how some people feel about the Miller bashing. It's just flat out inaccurate. I'm pretty sure he was being semi-sarcastic |

I would rather have a goalie who can at least share a ton of starts with Enroth...
Miller to STL for Halak or Elliot and Stewart or Roman Polak... i would take those any day of the day...
a key goalie cog and a top 6 scorer or top 4 physical d-man! |

Miller for Simmonds +
I'm sure there's quite a few teams that'd have interest in Miller... ESP in the offseason after their current goalies disappoints them in the playoffs

I have a completely different view on this as I would rather have a forward or defenseman that could help this team and replace the majority of middling players we have in front of the goalies.
If you can improve the offense and/or defense, the need for quality goaltending becomes secondary. |

I'm all for trading Miller,
But we would def need to bring in another Goalie
Enroth is decent at best
Leggio is not an NHL goalie
We have no one in the system that'll be ready in the next couple years |

We have no idea if Leggio is a NHL goalie, you are probably right but I wouldnt mind him getting some starts up here and see what he has. Remember Fasth was deemed to be an AHL lifer and now look at him.
Not saying Leggio=Hasek but remember it took Hasek a few years to even see a shot at starting

I have no problem getting another goalie, as long as it is not a requirement of the Miller deal. Get a goalie in a separate deal, and I don't need the best available goalie either. Just make it serviceable. |

Wow I totally forgot about him.
I guess I am all for the building for the future thing, lets see what we have down there. There is only one way to tell, call em up and let em play. It's just a little more difficult when it involes goalies |

IM all for a rebuild, but in the end I just want it one way or the other. Year after year we are buyers and get a fringe 3rd liner and say well we made a deadline move blah blah.
Need 100% commitment to a rebuild |

Agree, every year there are 3-5 goalies on the fa market. One goalie wouldnt mind seeing in a trade is Minny Backstrom in my eyes hes a lot like Miller been with the team forever could use a change of venue.
I dont see Minny winning with Backstrom |

I read nothing from Schopp / Chris or Sal or Jerry Sullivan when it comes to hockey.
None of them have a clue about hockey. Their hockey IQ is below average, especially Sal. Just my opinion. |
