Is anyone else tired of these corny blog titles and analogies? Everytime I see a Garth blog and read the title I shake my head. I rarely see someone like Travis Yost use cheesy titles and make reference to Rush. But then again thats why Yost has some credibility. ..

Not really an excuse. Yes he has alot of resposibility now that hes playing top line minutes but that does not excuse his terrible defence. He needs alot of work in that area and its slightly concerning. Hopefully next season he wont have as much heat on him but at this point I do not think he has what it takes to be a top line center in this league

no actually if you look at the replay, had it been attempt to injure there was no way your player was avoiding that on the head had Subban NOT switched his direction so no it wouldnt be attempt to hit either

Actually a good ref doesnt call the book black and white. Especially in hockey you cant call a game based on the book its more of a guideline. Was it a weak penalty after watching the replay in slo-motion yes...But he was head hunting the entire way. That was just a dumb play to make. Why step up in OT (17 seconds in) during 4 on 4 hockey? It makes no sense either way.

I give the Habs coach credit for not complaining about the call. Subban made a really really dumb play regadless of it being a penalty or not.

Lost control of his stick. Stick made contact (although not hard at all) with the rookies head... Deserving of the penalty. Must have control of your twig at all times... Over and done with.

I think Ehrhoff played his worst game of the year last night. But Ehrhoff has been far better than MYers any other game.
