Whats with the sh!tty poppy light party music playing in the background behind Otter's interview. That's why we suck. Do me a favor boys. Pop in Dropkick Murphys, cue up the track called the Gauntlet while your getting set to take the ice. Then we'll see what kind of energy you bring. Save that other crap for the little girls on the dance floor.

injuries have killed him NHL scouts said he plays like rick nash when he was drafted ..
i'm worried he might not make it to the nhl now

- GERBE!!!75PTS

He did come back and have his best year this season though... So while I'm not expecting he'll turn into a 2nd line "power forward" I could see him being a solid 4th liner that maybe can move up to the 3rd at time bc he does have some scoring potential...
He'll absolutely need at least 1year in Rochester, prob multiple years, so I don't expect to him on the Sabres anytime soon

It seems to me that we wanted Briere & a 3rd for Gratton,
And they said ok, but u gotta give us back a 4th...
To me, our 4th was the "throw in"
How did this even start though?
Wasn't that trade like 8years ago?

Cool that he remembers all the joy he felt sitting infront of the TV when the Stars won the cup...

Not a huge "Killswitch" fan, but I did see them play at the fairgrounds a few years ago w Rise Against, Rancid & Billy Talent...
There was someone else there too but I forget

That was a fun show too
I love going to concerts, as long as its not at a venue where I have to sit in a seat... I hate that!
Town Ballroom is a nice place locally for shows

Nice lineup!
I'm not a huge Killswitch fan but I am a fan. The Sabres NEED some angry music, not friggin Justin Bieber or some dance club techno crap to get them ready. It's just embarrassing.

He just came off a 32g/60pt season and Gretzky wasn't a fan of his. Thought he was to small. He was hardly a throw in. At the time it was a very good trade because Gratton was a scrub.

I meant how did we start talking about the trade at all?
I didn't read through all the pages
I'm gonna guess it had something to do w whether anyone had confidence Darcy could make a big trade?

I do and I don't
On one hand, you have acquisitions like Briere, Drury, Hodgson, a 1st for Goose...
But on the other hand, there's been a few I haven't liked at all...
Hasek, Campbell, and recently MacArthur, Paille & even Brennan...
Those can prob all be argued as to how good or bad they actually were

Briere wasnt a "throw in" by any means. But Gratton was obviously considered the "bigger" piece of the deal between the two teams. It wouldve been Danny and a 4th for Gratton and a 3rd otherwise.
