and if Seguin turned out to be Radek Bonk or a Grigorenko (too soon lol) id be oh how he fleeced them
Dougie does look good though
Dont forget Burke also made some nice moves with the Ducks - hubie
so right now you'd trade our next 2 first round picks for matt moulson and be happy about it?
moulsons stats are better than kessels at the time he was traded. |

You dont give up 2 first round picks for a 1 way player that wont have a supporting cast.
Kessel is like Vanek. Goal scorers that arent stand alone stars. They need others around them to do well. Very streaky players.
I could see a 1st round pick for Kessel, but not 2 - theblueandgold
its glaring that they didnt make the playoffs either year so if they make the playoffs both years they dont get either of those players |

Cammi got traded - hubie
Both have been NHL All-Stars. I don't know what a star is then. If were narrowing it down to Sidney Crosby and Stamkos, then yes no stars get traded
Edit: I quoted the wrong post |

well duh if the picks are in the 20s. but they werent. and the sabres 99% chance wont be either. so not a chance in hell am i trading them for kessel or moulson 3 years ago
and kessel scored over 30 1 time before he was traded (36) and has 30, 32, 37 since
so hes not a 40 goal scorer |

If Darcy traded this years first id walk down the street and throw blows.
YO umake a trade like the Kessell trade so your entrenched in the playoffs.
If the pick was beau bennett and tyler biggs would be the greatest trade of the century |

its really besides the point. its just so annoyingly frustrating listening to sabres fans whine about how darcy isnt going to do anything at the deadline. the same way we wined last year. and the same way in the offseason.
the guy makes moves. hes never traded away his stars before because hes never had to. make you can SLIGHTLY complain that he hasnt traded FOR a star, but holy poop thats so rare that it is a joke to actually complain about.
everyone wants him gone, i get it, but hes here and hes going to do what he thinks he needs to do to improve the team. whether those are the right or wrong moves is another argument, but hes going to make them. |

Colin Jacobbs is gonna play for Rochester. Can you tell me all about him too? - Pillar
Drafted in the 4th round two years ago
6'1... 215lbs
From "hockeysfuture.com"
Jacobs was a highly sought after prospect who turned down the USNTDP for the Thunderbirds. He is a heady, two-way player with good size who already has tons of experience at the WHL level, having played his first full season at just 16. However, his game still needs to mature, but there is no denying that Jacobs has enough talent to at least get a taste of the NHL.
He's rated as a 4th line talent, but does have some scoring upside... his stats improved every year in Juniors... So MAYBE a 3rd liner
25-28-53pts this season, which in Juniors isn't all that great, so I wouldn't expect him to be much of a scorer if he does make it to the Sabres one day... He's prob more of a "role player" type
If you're looking for a comparison to a recent player,
Think Gaustad or McCormick |

Whats with the sh!tty poppy light party music playing in the background behind Otter's interview. That's why we suck. Do me a favor boys. Pop in Dropkick Murphys, cue up the track called the Gauntlet while your getting set to take the ice. Then we'll see what kind of energy you bring. Save that other crap for the little girls on the dance floor. |
