I love the guy but (frank)....pull the (frank)ing trigger for (frank) sakes.
It'll be even sadder if they don't! |

Another reason why I think at the end of the day it doesn't get done....scaredy pants! (Not Feaster specifically, the whole organization) |

Agreed! He could have something very good lined up and the all mighty King could veto it. |

While I could see them being interested, I think your package is way too much. 1st plus one of those guys is maybe too much. - Iggysbff
Gotta' ask high, right. In truth I would be quite happy woth Holland and a 1st. |

What's so special about Holland? Don't know anything about him. |

What would be considered a rape? Only a 1st or lower; only a B prospect?
I can't imagine he brings anything less than a 1st and a prospect. I guess it depends on how many teams would be in on this. |

IMO you're right it has to be a 1st and a "A" type prospect. |

This is from the hockey news:
Scouting Report
Assets: Is a versatile forward with scoring and all-around upside. Owns an ideal frame (6-3, 200 pounds) for the National Hockey League game.
Flaws: Needs to make better use of his 6-3 frame, especially in terms of his physical play, in order to make an impact at the highest level.
Career Potential: Scoring forward with upside.
22yrs old, picked 15 overall. Looks like a nice fit with Baertschi. And for heavens sake he's a C |

It needs to be a 1st and a prospect minimum....not a crap prospect either, someone who can play, someone who the organization can get excited about, they need to sell this trade to the fans some how!
If they do end up trading him you'd have to assume we would need to take some salary back as well, so I could see another 3rd-4th liner (probably a pending UFA) coming back as well. |

Exactly this!! Anything that doesn't stir excitement to the fan base is likely "being raped" |

True, honestly that is all they need, some sort of excitement. If they traded Iggy straight up for Dougie Hamilton, I think fans would excited and happy about it.

Agreed!
If Iggy gets that hypothetically what would JBo bring in? B McKenzie seems to think JBo would bring more than Iggy.

I agree, but shouldn't the focus be a top flight forward, ideally a centre? Or I guess once Iggy is gone we tank and draft a centre... |

I was thinking that as soon as I wrote my comment. There would have to be a conditional pick thrown in if they get to the finals or resign but otherwise; Hamilton would be probably the best pick up. Still not sure if the B's could be pushed hard enough to do that. |

We are in need of youth all over this roster except for maybe LW and goaltending. But I somewhat agree, we should focus on a C or a future top pairing D; IMO those are our 2 weakest areas.
"If Iggy gets that hypothetically what would JBo bring in? B McKenzie seems to think JBo would bring more than Iggy."
I sure hope so. I think between Iggy, Jbo/Gio and perhaps Cammi, we should be able to grab a decent prospect for C and D as well as some picks. I would think we fall enough to draft an NHL ready (or close) prospect like McKinnon who I do believe plays some RW on his junior team.
**Edit** I would be extremely excited starting next year with Holland, Hamilton and McKinnon. Not to mention Baertschi, Brodie, Backlund. It starts to look better, no? |

Maybe he IS Feaster - The-O-G
I'm just trying to say that something major needs to happen, cuz whatever is going on now doesn't seem to be working. Also, I'm picking on Backlund as he keeps getting injured, and he isn't that tough, and after watching Tanguay get knocked around this season . . .

We still need to retain some skill, tough or not. |

We've got Gaudreau coming too... He's going to need a big strong linemate or 2. |

OK, we're going to have to pull a Ken King on you. So if you want to go on any other threads and propose trades you must clear it here 1st
Remember, scouts are reading this.
