Bolland for eller makes sense. Hawks get a project 2nd line center with some size and more playmaking than Bolland. Montreal has Plek and now DD and could use the proverbial third center in the playoffs. Saves some money for the Hawks

Watching the Buffalo/Montreal game on TSN. Eller looks real good, especially on the PK. I'd be happy if Stan for him for a fair price.

Stan will not be able to pull the wool over Bergevin's eyes, he knows the players to well in Chicago. It'll have to be a need for need FAIR deal for both. All while not messing up the current successful rosters.

I would be shocked if a deal goes through of significant value.

Bolland is a core guy until further notice, really has been considered as such by mgt....Don't forget his contract was signed awhile ago...summer before the Cup.

Can you say why? In all the videos the guys took of the cup team, he is NEVER in them. Never goofing off at the convention or anything. I just get the sense he's a loner that is respected on the team, but not essential to chemistry either.

The only one that I feel has a slight chance of going now is Stalberg....And that would be to fill a specific need and it wouldn't be a 4th line depth center.

Can you say why? In all the videos the guys took of the cup team, he is NEVER in them. Never goofing off at the convention or anything. I just get the sense he's a loner that is respected on the team, but not essential to chemistry either.

I think when you have any team, let alone one that has recently won a Cup and has the same 9 or so young players still together....

The last thing they would appreciate is any of them leaving suddenly after setting a NHL record for the best start and being over 2 touch downs in front in their division.

Bowman knows that his team isn't perfect but the last thing he will do is upset the apple cart by trading one of those who has won a Cup here.

If the right deal came along to fill a the 2nd line center position....Stalberg could be moved but his line has been playing great.

Like I said last week.....There are a few guys in Rockford that may have some trade value.....

Fair points. I'm a huge Stalberg guy not many guys I'd trade him for and I'd really want to sign him so I hope they don't trade him, but not as much as I hope they win the cup

That was maybe the most impressive thing about last night's Hawk game... it's about time the Hawks close out a game that strong. The Av's didn't even have a shot until about the mid-point of the third. It was a beautiful thing.
