Wonder who they're looking at? I agree with JJ that Scotty attending a game means something more than just a pro scout being here.

Ott is the obvious choice - tough as nails (125 hits so far), great on faceoffs (58.6%) and lots of experience. Contract isn't great but there's only 1 more year at $2.95 million.

Hecht? Not really impressive but he would add some depth at centre.

They can keep Hecht and his 39% F/O win performance. Marcel Goc is at 51% though, similar players otherwise.

Mtl targets: Eller (wishful), Ryan White (probable)

Buf targets: Ott (wishful) Kevin Porter (probable)

Probably not, but they've got nothing else I'd be realistically intereseted in.

Sharp in my wet dreams, but more realistically would be picks and prospects not named Danault or Teravainen.

Scotty Bowman scouting MTL-BUF game. Usually means a trade is close when Senior is on the prowl.

More interesting as well because GM meetings are tomorrow in TORONTO.

I don't know a specific fit with Montreal but like I said the last couple of weeks their scouts have been at the UC frequently.

...But don't discount a Buffallo possibility, they must be close to blowing the whole thing up.
