Boyes really looked bad tonight... and i only watched 1 period
- Danformo

You're kidding me? He made one good pass in the first period and the secondary assist on the PP goal other than that he was a turnover machine and pretty much ruined 2 PP's.

Someone please tell me why capuano feels Reasoner with max mins in 3rd is the solution. he has 1 goals in over 90 games in Isles jersey.

Im still beside myself that goal reversal. total momentum changer.

He gave the puck up all night.

I have no (frank)ing idea how anyone can think for a second that Boyes is even a decent player? He is so blatantly horrible at times. He makes the occaisional good pass followed by multiple horrible ones. I honestly believe he is ruining the first line lately. That and Moulson has been noticably horrible

what a joke that was. I was laughing to myself saying just watch toronto reverse this goal. and they did.

We should all be use to it by now. Isles will always get short end of the stick in NHL.

With the way Wang runs this team the league will not have respect for the Islanders.

you couldnt be more far off. boyes was on of best players tonight. Moulson blew two easy scoring changes and Tonight JT was invisible.

Capuano is so completely inept at his job he makes Snow look like a good GM and Wang sane.

I would love to see the overall stat on Islanders replays sent to Toronto as it seems we almost never get the positive end of those reviews

In CA on business but watched some of the game on my tablet. Thought the Islanders got robbedon the two calls. However...they need to win these games when winning by two goals...hopefully they win Thursday.

Capuano saying he's going to switch up the first line . Maybe he finally woke the (frank) up to Boyes? Knowing him he'll play Tavares with Boulton and Okposo

JT wasn't invisible tonight, I hate to say it but he was flat out bad tonight. He can't be a superhero every night. As for the high stick, it was not touched first by Vis, I know, but it took slow motion replay for us all to be sure and it was awfully close. To blame the refs is ridiculous. The team blew it.

That line needs a big body that can also play defense in the worst way. Jack was not happy with that first line during his interview. No wonder Boyes is on that line. It's time for Martin on that line. Jack again talks about the need to battle and block shots and yet the puts the same guys out there. Why not play Finley and call up Donovan? As long as this team keeps putting dead weight in the lineup it's only a matter of time before they start slipping up.

i know I will get jumped all over for this, but it was a kick...he clearly had forward motion not just from skating in...but I was sure they were gonna call it a goal..

it was a weird game though...the refs seemed to make calls for the team that had momentum..the calls against the Sens, the kassian penalty that resulted in a goal was terrible and the follow up call against gryba was even worse...

NHL reffing in general is horrendous...every team gets killed by it every game

That's why he is kept around. He get fired and the spotlight goes to Wang and Snow and why another coach was fired.

KO wakes up and is our best players and rest of team falls asleep.

This team has loser attitude. It stems from coach and to all the players.

Amac is our worst dman now. why is he on 2nd PP unit. I think this kid hickey has done more than enough to deserve it.

We lost, OTT missing Spezza, Michelek, karlsson and anderson. they played 2 and 1/2 periods tonight with 5 dman.

EXCUSES or not. This team has heart. We dont.

You are out of your mind. That was a distinct kicking motion? The Gryba penalty, the one where he punched Cizikas in the face with his stick once again completely clearly? The game was wierd for sure and I'm not blaming the refs for the loss but the two things you bring up were so obviously bad calls.

Amen. Jack still being coach says it all. Amac is brutal and needs to sit. No way should we have lost this game. Sens have heart and a real coach.

Senators just showed us what strong coaching can do. Missing three of their best players in Spezza, Karlsson, and Michalek and they've hardly lost a step. Fire capuano already, and bring in someone like ruff or crawford.

these two sentences sum it up perfectly. It stems down from the GM on down. So obviously not caring enough and trickles all the way down to the players, these guys don't know how and truly don't want to win, at least not enough to want it more than the othe team. In sports talent only takes you so far, it's that want that wins more games. This team lacks it from the top all the way down.

Boulton playing, AMAC playing 25 mins a game, Ullstrom getting benched, Constant bad line changes, Boyes being on the first line(I'm convinced Snow has more to do with this than anyone), Reasoner out at the worst imes against the teams top lines or down by a goal with 2 mins left, Martin seemingly being demoted for playing good? I can go on with this, the guy is a (frank)ing joke.

"How do they change this?" Butchie peladed with Howie to figure out something he could say to make sense of yet another loss after 40 good minutes of play. -Dee Karl
40 minutes is all this team can play. After they play good for 40 minutes they feel like they played enough and go to sleep. Pathetic.

the gryba "high stick" penalty was a joke...the kicked in goal was subjective I guess..the replays showed what I saw and the reversed the call on the ice...

either way the refs suck every single game

That's why this team needs a real NHL coach. And this outcome I kinda expected. Team wins 2 in a row, then poops the bed. It's typical. A capuano coached team doesn't win 3 in a row unless they are out of the playoff picture.
