hahahaahahahahah this might be the funniest thing i've ever read on this site, and thats hard to do with the stuff sabres, pens fans and jaeckel spew. meltzer is far from a flyers homer, far, far from it. you might want to re-read this blog to get a homer's take on a game.

its ok...keep losing , as long as it rises our eastern conference positioning over you and towards a play-off spot im fine with whatever you have to say, cause if this statement is true..you have no reason to talk as your team is brutal

I saw nothing wrong with the Gudas hit.

But then I saw nothing wrong with the Grossmann hit either. The refs and I don't agree on much.

I don't believe that the Grossman hit is suspension-worthy, but I do believe that it should have been a two minute minor. I saw it as a shoulder/elbow to the back of the head/neck. That's just my opinion. The Gudas hit I really didn't have a problem with at all.

Officiating as a whole has been really weak this season. I don't find myself agreeing with them much either.

i saw nothing wrong with the grossman hit i just saw an interference call
even if they did get tied up a bit and even if the lightning player was already off balance the reff still had to call something it was super obvious the player got tied up and had no fair play to the puck

also yes the gudas hit was 100% clean in my eyes

Yes, because calling Talbot the player of the game certainly oozes Lightning homer-ism. I've been an incredibly harsh critic of the Lightning this season, given the inconsistent effort levels and weak performances of many key players. You can defend your blogger without coming out with baseless attacks on me. I try to remain pretty objective when it comes to analyzing the Lightning. The reality is that the Flyers had a stinker last night; there's no two ways about it. The Lightning was the better team and the right result followed.
- Michael_Stuart

you over sell everything the lightning did in this game. this was a game between two bad teams, nothing more, nothing less. neither team was better than the other. the flyers hit 3 posts on great chances. if they go in, its a completely different game. (yes, i know the lightning hit at least one post). there were stretches of the game where each team was better than the other. the lightning certainly had the better skating team around our horrendous defense. but to say the lightning skated circles around the flyers all night and were an obviously better team is just not accurate.

As compared to Bill Meltzer who only described the game from a flyer point of view -what they did right what they did wrong he never talks about the opponent its always about the flyers and he never gives credit to maybe being outplayed on scoring chances rather its what a flyer did wrong or their bad reaction. At least Michael tells it like it is good or bad and credits the other team when due so please go back to your thread and maybe take off the orange glasses.

no, bill doesnt say much about the other team, because hes a flyers blogger. you havent read his blogs if you think his take is that the flyers only lose due to their level of play. he will mention when the other team outplays them. he points out the flaws the flyers have constantly. read his blog today. and why do i have on orange glasses when i just mentioned it was a game between TWO bad teams? you are (frank)ing clueless.

I'm impressed that the Lightning came out and showed a killer instinct in a game they needed to win. That's more than you can say about the Flyers. Call me crazy. Last I checked, the Lightning deserved the win and won.

Dude..

if you like the blog, read it...if you don't like it...don't read it and don't comment lol
how much simpler can it get? None of us commented on your flyers blog, we kept it to ourselves... now you come into Michael's Tampa blog and stir sh*t up when Michael indeed has no control on what other people may comment on his blogs and attack him right away...come on
The game happened Monday night and it is now Wednesday, we are ready for Toronto now and are not concerned 1% about you at all anymore

go b0lts!

A 2-2 game midway through the 3rd, with even chances, a bunch of posts by the flyers and a deflection goal to take the lead is killer instinct? low standards down there in tampa...

and before you bring up the flyers again, they are a bad team and i know that.

Accepting failure is hard. I've had plenty of practice watching this Lightning team. You'll learn. I have faith.

Really this ass*ole is still going on about the Flyers, what an imbecile, game over move on we really don't care what you think if you do at all. Bolts5-2 tnight against the Leafs not the Flyers. If he comes back wanting to be right just block him for being an ass*ole. My opinion is right yours is wrong is too much b.s.

I think it gets easier to accept failure when it enables you to draft players like Stamkos.

it's hard? i've accepted they aren't a good team this year. i'm not really sure what you are getting at here. you need accept that a win over the flyers in unspectacular fashion doesn't mean anything, as the leafs proved.
