Eric Engels: Habs among best stories in sports - EricEngels
engels, i'm glad to see that the florida sun, your birthday and your extended honeymoon have you in high spirits re: the habs. one day, if i am so honoured, i'd love to see your pom-pom collection.
truth is, no matter how you want to spin it, the canadiens are one of the best "short" stories in sports. after all, they've only played the equivelant of a little more than a quarter of an nhl season. not a good sample size.
generally in sports, it's a marathon not a sprint. truth is, the canadiens right now are somewhere between last years team and this years team.
but keep the faith.
tonight, desharnais certainly didn't fly out of the blocks responding to his new contract. pacioretty has been invisible lately. galchenyuk and gallagher look like they've hit a wall. nothing from the 4th line. problem with playing buffalo is they are the least of our rivals the division. we just don't get up for them like we do for boston, toronto and even ottawa. yes, ottawa! |

But if someone from somewhere else moves there, does he becomes a douchebag?
And what about an Albertan leaving Alberta, does he remain a douchebag? |
