Phaneuf wouldn't be so criticized if he wasn't so massively overpaid.
- Pecafan Fan

I agree.

I actually like the player overall. Just not at that price.

The Sabres will be lucky to score one.
No mercy please, the Sabres need to screw up their top 3 pick in the draft!

Honestly, considering how deep the next draft is supposed to be... it'll be close to impossible to (frank) up a top 5 pick....

I can see the Habs blowing it. I can see B-lo putting it together for a run but unsuccessful in getting into the POs. I have no clue. I am lost in a sea of uncertainty.

I think I'd prefer Bourque with Pleckanec and Ryder, and Gionta with Eller and Galchenyuk.

Interchangeable depending on the flow of a game. But Gionta has ben playing his best habs hockey with those two

Just for the balance of righthanded/lefthanded, Gionta or Ryder should play with Eller/Galchenyuk.

And since Ryder was so-so when put there...

Plus, Gionta plays a similar game to Gallagher, which seemed to work well with 27.

Not sure they want to move Gionta from Plek.

Gionta and Ryder are both righties but Ryder is good playing left since he's a shooter
