Yep, but gotta admit Moncton is very scary this year...so is Halifax.

We've had some real tough games with Mon. this year.
They can be a miserable team to play against.

Talking about huge i went to watch Gauthier last friday and really wasn't impressed by the big kid. Not very fast and he plays like a 5'10 forward. I was much more impressed by Mantha a few weeks ago, the kid can skate, sick shot and good hands. And he has all the time to fill his frame.

Saw that game on TV.

Gauthier is very raw, but no, he doesn't play like a 5'10 forward. He's very smart, yes you'd like him to hit more considering how big he is, but I think he doesn't do it so he won't get out of the play. He plays like a pro already.

There was another game of Rimouski a few weeks back where he was hitting more, but the hits he did were to retrieve the puck, not simply finish a check.

Mantha is a pure goal scorer, he's an alright skater, and his puck-handling is very good. But he's also much more older than Gauthier.

Mantha has a tendency to disappear in games, when he doesn't score. Gauthier is more complete. Even if he doesn't score, he can contribute in many other aspects. And once he fills out, he'll be a scary package.

I like both to be quite honest with you, but I prefer Gauthier, big guys like that with talent and two-way awareness don't grow on trees.

To be fair Gauthier and Trainor were pretty invisible in that game. I don't mind he doesn't hit just for the fun of hitting, but i expected him to protect the puck much more along the boards and win battles. To me it looked like he misses the natural instinct of a goal scorer. He is defensively responsible, i definetly can't deny it but all in all, i expected a bit more...

but seriously, my co-worker told me to eat light during the day, but I didn't expected that much food.

They greeted us with an open bar and some appetizers. Then we entered the the great hall, where they had a buffet, with some cheeses, cold cuts, wine, fried calamari, and other appetizers.

Then on with the five course meal...

and at midnight (which about an hour after I ate the dessert ) they brought another buffet, with pizzas, smoked meat, fruit fountain and the wedding cake...there was even a dude that made garlic oil sauteed pasta

Trainor plays with Oke, Oke sucks everything offensively, he's a blackhole of offense.

Gauthier seemed alright battle wise, but what I like the most about him, and it was pretty easy to notice in that game, is that he's very careful with his puck management, doesn't give it to the other for nothing, he's very good at anticipating the play.

But lately Gauthier has had rough games offensively he slowed down since January.

I don't want him to retire. Ever.

He's the exact opposite of Mark Recchi.
