Again, why are Montreal fans putting Louie in every trade idea like Edmonton fan does with Hemsky?

I think he'll be able to make the NHL but there's no room in the lineup for him in Mtl

The question for Chevy and the Jets right now until the off season or perhaps sooner like the Trade Deadline is this: can we get him to buy into our system.

Burmistrov has to understand one thing: can he work under the system/environment any NHL coach creates?

If the answer to either of those questions is no then I would imagine he's gone.

My bet is he starts against the Bruins tomorrow and he is given a short leash.

To Tor: Byfuglien, James wright or Tangradi
Wpg: Kuli, Grabo, liles, third (second if leafs make playoffs)

Cap move by leafs (liles) and jets get good solid roster players back. good hockey trade for both teams think both win.

To Wsh: Burmistrov Jokinen, liles, third, B prospect
WPG: Schultz, Johansson

Washington enters mini rebuild as sellers Burmistrov can fit in and develop in a better situation (more russians). Johansson my be hard to pry away. Jokinen and liles fill in roster spots for this year and next.

move antropov for mid-late first (goose type deal from last year)

Ladd/little/wheeler
Kane/grabo/miettinen
kuli/Johansson/wellwood
(wright or tangradi)/slater/thorburn

Keep Dreaming if you think that is going to land you buff, thats a list of leaf spare parts for one top pairing D-Man signed long term at a reasonable cap hit

alone trade isn't the best for winnipeg need the make secondary move such as the washington trade i posted. Grabo is still a great second line player who out competes most people who plays 200 feet which is what you want in a second liner. and Kuli is a gem of a two-way winger who is perfect for second/third line. Liles is a still a good 4/5 Dman who has just been outplayed of a roster spot here. cant see him finding the spot on the jets either which is why i included him in second trade. He still has value maybe not as high as he was last year but the value is still there.

Seriously?? Why would the JETS make deal 1 if it "isn't the best" for them...while giving up one of their best players?? Sounding a bit like the Flyers fan who thought the JETS should trade them Buff for some garbage, cause you know, it could help out the JETS.

wouldn't be surprised if the flyers are trying to pry him away from the jets

Well then why would the Leafs want to give up ALL THAT? A great second liner AND a gem?

No, lets talk about how easy the Jets have it. They only have 1 opponent to play to gain a playoff berth while every other team in every other division has to fight for a guaranteed playoff berth in the conference. Pretty sad when the better teams lose out on post season play while mediocre teams like the Jets are given a bye? Bettmans way of helping insure that the Winnipeg franchise doesn`t fold as fast as the last one I suppose. Time to eliminate divisions so only the best teams move forward!
