No kidding. Seems like they may be starting to listen recently. We'll see. Only been 4 games. |

I agree that the shootout thing was stupid, but right now we have a problem with centres.
What really may have to happen is either we cut down Bozak's minutes (and place KAdri with Kessel and Lupul) or trade one of Grabovski or Bozak altogether (Bozak)... Kadri is playing too well to cut down his minutes and Bozak is ont he top line, so if we limit him, we limit kessel.
Kadri as the #1
Grabo as the #2
Bozak as #3 (or McClement)
McClement as #4 (or Komarov) - mfreedman
Kadri was playing well as 3rd line center.....actually he played his best at those minutes.
Grabo needs to play more...he's simply not getting the opportunity to excel. |

I just looked it up and Edm and toronto's numbers are very comparable in both of those categories... hate to admit it - dragus84
I never said we were drastically better. But the argument was that Edmonton was a better defensive team. Statistically that's false. |

Pretty clear evidence here that one team is the superior defensive unit.

Phaneuf puts up real good Corsti Numbers each and every year. +/- is a waste of time.
Fraser and Franson shut teams down night in and night out.
I noticed you chirp Phanuef numbers but dont' note that Fraser is a top + guy in the league. - HipHopisDead
You might have noticed I didnt mention +/- at all. Theres a reason for that.
Look not trying to get into anything here. Just pointing out that saying the Leafs are better defensively really isnt true. |

Who made the argument that the leafs are SUPERIOR?
Don't exaggerate the argument just because you were proven wrong statistically. |

They are playing against completely different teams and the sample is tiny.
Just from watching from the start of this year. The Leafs have been more steady so far.

If the Oilers post a shutout in their next game, their defensive play will be better than the Leafs, right? |
