If you toss in a Gardiner and give it a good shake you will end up with better mobility and the ability to get it out of your zone faster.

you are an ever hopeful man LM.. might as forget about Gardiner til Nonis moves Liles or even a left handed shot.

til then.. gardiner will play for the marlies. i would actually bet on it.

The forward lines are all over the place at practice.

Re:Gardiner, I think it is stupid to burn the second year of his contract on the Marlies, he is ready, playing the same system as the Leafs, so no excuses, you make room for him. That is the last of it today from me.

Both or just one? I'd do Gardiner, Letang is a right handed shot to.

So what now that the Getzlaf/Perry project has fallen apart?

One guy you could get for sure is Gaborik. He definitely could be had.

If he thinks Torts is annoying, I can only imagine what he'll say when he's on the third line with Grabovski stapled to the bench in a shootout at 7 mil, no matter how many goals he scores.

Clarkson and Murray for me.

Plan B at centre is Ribeiro, Weiss or Roy. I'm not saying the that is who I want but what is left.

This makes me cringe.... We tried the "whats left" option and got Connolly.

I would rather Aim for a Young Center who has a lot more left. Duchene or prospect like Strome etc.. keeping in mind neither is available..but why try for older stop gaps again. This team is still a huge WIP..a 33 year old Ribero will just keep the mediocrity going, and cost too much imo
