Somebody refresh my memory:

Can we send down Holzer or Kostka without clearing waivers?

Kostka, right?

- Atomic Wedgie

Nazem Kadri, Leo Komarov and Korbinian Holzer are waiver exempt, Komarov has a deal that he will not be sent down.

Gunnar and Phaneuf on the same pairing goes against RC's philosphy of same side defensemen

So looking at those pairings, who can you drop to bring in Gardiner?

You can't play Gardiner with Phaneuf - too much sizzle, not enough steak.

Can't take Franson out of lineup. Don't want to take out Fraser.

Can't take out Holzer - Liles with Gardiner is a scary proposition.

So it's basically Liles. And I'm hoping he can regain his form, or at least play a bit and be traded for a box of donuts.

Sorry Mr. Gardiner, but you need to be patient.

Yup, pretty certain it appears that Gards isn't going to be moved up until JLM is sent packing.

Burning the second year on his contract in the AHL is not very wise management, imo.

There has to be some GM out there that will take him in the next couple of weeks.

I honestly don't think it's that much of a problem to be giving this guy 30 minutes a night with the Marlies.

I read an article a few years ago - apparently some teams develop their players.

I'll try to find it...

Not too many teams are lining up to trade for a guy who sits in the press box most nights, dinging your cap for $3.875 million for the next three years.

He's in Komisarek territory, I'm afraid.
