It's been frustrating to say the least. Although I do try to remind myself that 3 of those games were against Pitts and Boston - and they played really well in both. One horrific game against the Jets and then one horrific period against the Jets. No excuses though ....that can't happen.

They need another top 4 dman who can keep things simple.

And as well as they've played it'd be nice if the goalies could squeeze a puck in their glove.

I think in reality there are only 3 puck playing tenders left in Brodeur, Fleury and Smith.

True ....was watching the Tbay-Flyers game last night and both of those goalies were awful with the puck. It's a lost art.

...umm, yeah...I dunno about this....I like the extra minutes for Franson for sure, but trying to carry Phaneuf's disastrous defensive gaffs have been more than any other d-man in the NHL can handle. It's a tall order.
