Exactly! He has passion for the game but in the end it isn't 'captain' material.
The Leafs need a captain who doesn't make bone headed decisions and therefore a better example.
What's the example Dion gives? We hit hard every other game, severely inconsistent and defense is a foreign word. poop even McClement would be a better captain.

I agree that I don't think he should have been appointed the C but lets be serious... you can't act as though you know whats going on behind closed doors. Sure, speculate based on his play but realistically no one on this forum has any idea of the truth.

Wasn't trying to 'burn' you. Simply stating that actions speak louder then words and you obviously cannot read body language.
McClement would make an excellent captain. But I'd stick with Lupul as the next captain with our current roster.
