I wouldn't say goaltending is the main problem, but it is a problem with this team. Can you honestly feel comfortable with either of our goalies going forward?
I don't - faceto27
I do. Both goalies have stolen games for the Leafs. Team's just been playing pond hockey for the last 10 games or so, and it's really bitten them in the ass these last 5... Though I will say, the last two, they've tightened it up, they just got too comfortable with a small lead in both games(and had some godawful reffing go against them). I think they're gonna turn it back around... they certainly don't look like a defeated bunch.

...while playing Vancouver affiliate...
and I'd imagine they've been watching many affiliates. That's what they do. Just doesn't make the papers when there isn't already a roomer...Still, never know.
Ribeiro stuff I've yet to see from anywhere credible...
Doesn't make a lot of sense to me when he's UFA and, although an upgrade, is still not a long term solution - 33 yrs old ATM, and skill set will likely decline faster than others due to his... lifestyle... - Big_Lightnin
He does ATM
Should be popular in the dressing room |

Ribeiro would be a better #1 C than Bozak...
Although I don't like trading for a UFA...and Ribeiro is making $5mil/season
Grabs for Ribeiro...then sign Ribeiro 3 years $14mil...cheaper than Grabs and more productive... - BoBBeR56
Probably yes, but still not a fan. Putting Riberos vacuum nose alongside Kadri could have dire consequences. |

PS. While I'm not a huge fan of the type of player Ribiero is(don't want him on the team), I wouldn't be surprised if they traded for him, and/or signed him in the offseason. He's an exciting player who'll keep asses in the seats, and an obvious improvement on the top line. I see a Connolly-like contract for him. |

Grabo for Kuznetsov straight up. - optimus-reim

Thats a retarded thing to say. Ribeiro and Kadri have similar playing styles, it would only help Kadri's development |

I think the issue he's talking about is *lifestyle*, not playing style.
However some of Ribiero's biggest flaws are what they're trying to train out of Kadri. Bringing in a relatively successful vet who's done it with those flaws might not be good for his gameplay either. I'm talking about lack of 2-way play and a tendency to dive. |

He does if we acquire a center without giving one up, and then trade a center for him.
He also makes sense because the type of player he could be is the type of player every team would love to have. |

Yeah, I guess with all the drug testing and physicals they do they never notice a drug problem with Kadri, never ceases to amaze me the crap that gets said. |
