Pretty clear evidence here that one team is the superior defensive unit.

Oilers problem is they can't (frank)ing score.
- Pecafan Fan

Which is pretty funny considering all they've ever drafted were scorers in the past 4 years.

It's actually pen15.
- Pen15

Yeah, I gathered that.

Was just wondering if there was someone around stupid enough to name themselves penis, and then actually confirm it.

What a donkey.

David Alter ‏@DavidAlter590

Long practice for #leafs, Carlyle taking full advantage of max time permitted in CBA for this.

Now its time to give them a bag skate

- faceto27

right, because nothing turns around an NHL team like a bag skate.

Meh.. Im in there just to talk hockey, and get away from goofs like him and UG that make the leaf threads a circus. Lot of intelligent hockey fans over there.
- joel878

Sometimes.

Clouts invites a lot of squids when he starts chucking bait though.

Unfortunately, hockey is subjective for the most part.

I just said.... Reilly would be better protected than Schultz cause the leafs have a more balanced defensive system and all hell breaks loose.

Ok Joel.

I think you're the last person that should be commenting on names.

The lack of experience may have to do with it.

Oh they drafted plenty of dmen. Just not 1st overall. Curious which dmen people think they should have taken 1st overall at those times.

So looking at those pairings, who can you drop to bring in Gardiner?

You can't play Gardiner with Phaneuf - too much sizzle, not enough steak.

Can't take Franson out of lineup. Don't want to take out Fraser.

Can't take out Holzer - Liles with Gardiner is a scary proposition.

So it's basically Liles. And I'm hoping he can regain his form, or at least play a bit and be traded for a box of donuts.

Sorry Mr. Gardiner, but you need to be patient.

- Atomic Wedgie

Watching Holzers last few games shows he should be riding the bus with the ahl boys now..This is retarded that we keep a Def man up that is playing brutal for us,is waiver friendly and we have a top d man ready to come up that proved last year he can be a top 6 d on most teams..

He knows how to bait em. That's for sure. Still don't seem to get the over the top heckling meatballs within your own fanbase like we do, but I suppose that's made up for in cloutier tangling with the trolls himself.

Nope.. No I'm pretty sure that the guy named penis is the first guy out of a name bashing contest, not 'slinging' insults at other people.

All hell breaks....? Lol no not even. After Clouts wrote the blog saying the Oilers would win the Cup this year...THAT was hell breaking loose. This was just a difference of opinion.

i thought last year they should have dealt out of the #1 spot and taken Murray but maybe nothing was there anyway.

Because for the first 20 games they essentially didnt score 5 on 5. Also MPS' two way play has been fantastic. Good example of what taking some time with talent can do.

They need a couple more veterans imho.

Like, a Shane Doan. A "real leader".

At least RC finally used some smarts and did not pair Holzer with Pa-neuf on Saturday.
I'm surprise RC didn't get Holzer involved in the shoot out.

Get this kid outta here.

Meh. Murray did nothing to impress me and dealing from #1 down to #2 wouldnt get much of an asset in return.

What they really need is one of those team-building trips away from the rink.

Like go visit an army base or cupcake bakery, and participate in the drills.

By working together, and relying on each other, they learn how they are all connected.

And trust is built.
