I'm well n the record before bobs hot streak as stating we should have stuck with bob and never got bryz. Amazing how these young Unproven no experience goalies make bryz look more and more like a major dumb a$$ move.

Relax. If one goes back on this site, you'd find I didn't want the Flyers to get Bryz but instead get a backup & stick with Bob. Of course, I don't resort to character assassination or crude comments when I feel strongly about a move I disagree with, but... strokes, folks...

Just curious if anyone values hartnell to much to trade? I don't but his antics against Pitt would be missed for sure

They need him. I think his toe may be affecting him still. I expect him to ramp it up soon

Under what circumstances would you consider resorting to a character assassination (glad you spelled that for me) or crude comments?

I'd just really like to know.

Yes, two great weeks ensures his enshrinement in the Hall of Fame and the ability to move matter with his mind.

That said, he has played very well....almost as well as Bryzgalov did last March when he was player of the week twice and ended up player of the month.

I don't like their handling of Bobrovsky, either. But let's not act like they dumped Bernie Parent or Patrick Roy over two very good weeks.

Friedman's thoughts...

There's a comment on Bob too.. just to fan the flames!

18. Two years ago, Philadelphia goalie coach Jeff Reese said that when Sergei Bobrovsky learned how to deal with North American angles, traffic and style, he was going to be a stud. Good call.

No surprise, but Andrej Sustr, 6-foot-8 Univ of Nebraska-Omaha junior dman (UFA), has officially decided to leave school/field NHL offers.

I know.. I wasn't talking about you personally.. I was referring more to the general blind faith on this site that a lot of flyers fans have on here. ( bill says something, everyone agrees) flyers make a move ( no one questions it) maybe not ( everyone) but definitely most. E.j. On NHL live top 5 today had top 5 buyouts... Surprise surprise briere #5 bryz #1. Lol

Yeah, he's going to jump at a chance to sign here and play with the guy that turned his back on the UNO team.

He said that he was untrustworthy and that the Flyers will never win with him and that the amnesty buyout without a doubt can and will be used on him after the season.

It was the same when Boucher set the NHL record with 5 straight shutouts. Still a career backup.

The Flyers signed Bryzgalov to a long ass deal, there was no reasonable expectation for them to keep Bob. It's a shame that Laviolette mishandled the goalies bad enough for Snider to issue a declaration.

It's a bigger shame that they immediately re-signed Leighton instead of getting a solid starter, so Bob could play in the AHL for a year or two.

If he states our goalie sucks, Bryz should take it as a compliment.

Not unless they got really tight in half a season.
