Why do so many fans feel like he needs to give us weekly fireside chats on the team.

Whats the dude going to say? The team is bad. I hope my guys that are on payroll can fix it. Its not in good taste (usually) for a owner to be a loudmouth and throw his staff under the bus or be a hands on owner unless he knows this team inside and out...hes owned it for two years....this is going to take some time.

It would be a cool job but no I dont.

I like to look at our situation as a larger whole than just trade Miller and this team sucks why cant we have Pat Kane.

He was 100% right - an ass for sure - but correct about 57

Tron(Flynn) just plays hard every shift and his effort is noticeable......please don't let the rest of these idiots rub off on him.

Flynn, Eh, Tron, is one of the only bright spots on this team. He really is easy to like. Lets hope some of him rubs off on the others!

I agree, he is probably pissed off about whats going on. I wouldn't mind him saying something when major decisions are made, like firing Ruff, but he has no obligation to say anything to the fans.

Right on Myers but a dumbass for sure....he single handedly set the islanders back for life. The list of players he traded away is insane. The islanders could've been a very good team for years if he hadve exercised some patience.

Record/winning percentage wise, I am pretty sure that the team under Pegula is worse than the team under Golisano. It may not last, but since he took over, the product on the ice has taken a step backwards. However, if they end up with a top 3 pick, and that top 3 pick (Jones, Drouin, MacKinnon) is as much of the real deal as it has supposed to be, that should change.

I think the Myers has been better lately. He has to simplify his game and make better decisions, and he has shown some progress in that.

Millbury picking him apart for joining that particular rush was dumb though. The other point was not 'wide open' like Millbury said, Ott was over there. We have to put pressure on them since we were down by 3 goals.

Agreed......PLAY SOFTLY! I am and have always been a huge Pommer fan and have 2 of his jerseys but I'm slowly coming over to the other side. Very good complimentary player but the second he was given the captaincy he was set up to fail. He's not that kind of leader. Imagine how he would do riding shotgun with a true set up guy(Sid). It's where he needs to be with no pressure of leading, it just not in his character to be a leader of men.

Edit.....he's playing especially bad the last few weeks....something tells me his fragile psyche has taken a hit. Me thinks he hears the rumors.

He picked out 2 plays and tried to make it sound like Myers has been doing that all season. No he wasn't right about Myers. I see players battle like that all the time for icing pucks. Go figure it's a penalty on the Sabres. Happened to Leino in the first no call. As far as him in the corner. I have no probls with it. He was trying to make something happen. Funny how Milbury said "even though nothing came of it".... It's not like he is doing that game in and game out and he makes the wrong choice, he actually made the right play.

Hate watching sabres games on NBC. Sabres are always their punching bag, and Crapitals are 29th in the league but NBC is treating them like #1 in the East.

I said this at the beginning of last season. If Jason Pominville is the best this team can do as a captain, this team has problems.
