This trade may turn out to be the one that seals the faith of Darcy.
A fifth round pick for a player picked fist by Buffalo in the 2nd round a few years and one in whom we invested lost of time in the Hockey University of Rochester?
Come on!
There are a number of players that should be sent packing ahead of those that are young and hungry to play.
Rumour of the day:
Grabowski for Stafford - RicoMartin
Yes this. And I would do Grabovski for Stafford but buffalo would nix the deal seeing that Darcy is paranoid of division foes after Paille MacArthur thing.

of course Brenan is that good. It is just that Darcy is that bad at being a GM. And to think the Sabres got a whole 5th round choice for him
Oh I almost forgot, the real bonus is that we got to keep Jochen Hecht.....
Despite the denials of GM Darcy Regier, league sources confirmed to QMI Agency Saturday the Sabres are indeed ready to "blow it up" and pretty much every player on their roster is available before the April 3 trade deadline.
Sources say the Sabres aren't going to move high-scoring winger Thomas Vanek or top prospects Marcus Foligno ,Cody Hodgson or Alexander Sulzer. Nobody would take Tyler Myers' contract, but every player is up for discussion.

It's hilarious around here......a week ago nobody cared if we've waived him and lost him for nothing. Many wanted him waived claiming he would not be claimed......so we move him and many are acting as if he's the next Niedermayer. I'd bet there are a bunch of you that wanted him waived and are now crying about him playing 20 minutes and scoring in his 1st game.......can't have it both ways people.

Thank you. It's TJ Brennan people. Who cares? If he goes on to be a great player for the Panthers, it doesn't matter, because it clearly wasn't happening for him here. I am also happy that Grigo was sent back to the Q. Do we really want him exposed to this culture of losing?
