I would have absolutely no problem with the call on Ehrhoff if they called the hold on Phillips. I don't want us to get all of the calls, I just want some goddamn consistency for once.

It's not like they had 2 PP goals earlier in the game or something. We have the worst PP in the entire league and they generated absolutely nothing with the game on the line.

Good game guys, I think you played well enough to win in the 1st and 3rd, it was just the 2nd that did you in... The Senators will be very happy that they got 2 points here, it wasn't looking good for us in the 1st and late 3rd... And it shouldn't have been decided on that PP, that was a weak-ass call for the refs to be making in OT.

Vanek had a chance, he just cant snipe the puck like everyone thinks he can. He always shoots it into the one area the goalie has a chance at making the save.

Its not over analyzing anything. Vanek doesnt score those kind of goals. Not sure why everyone thinks hes a "pure goal" scorer because he has high goal totals. Theres a complete difference between the types of goal scorers.

Beautiful blast by Turris. Clapper top shelf. He should teach Vanek how to shoot like that. We might have won this game.

Unfortunately it pains me to say that I'm not sure any of this will happen. From what I've seen this organization is in total denial about what direction the team needs to take

There were some bad goals this game, but that turris shot was a rocket in the absolute perfect spot...i dont think you can fault miller on that

I think he's still hurt, not lazy but I'm not opposed to unloading anybody. Personally, I trade Vanek for whatever you can get (should be something decent) and go all out for Perry in the offseason.

Yes, considering who those guys are, I have to agree with you... These guys don't even have a Cup finals run under their belts, unlike the Flames guys you refer to. Blowing it up at or prior to the draft would probably be a good idea...

It's a pity, because I thought getting Ehrhoff, Regehr, and Leino (to a lesser extent) would transform this team back into a contender, I don't know whether it's the coaching, the environment, or what but all of these guys have disappointed me.
