Be strong my friend.

I've had "protypical" thrown in my face on and off ever since the great Zherdev/Russian debate.

Not high on Morrissey?

The Flyers may also have a decent chance at Zadorov. Rated higher than any d-man in this draft. Amazing size, he has already somewhat grown into. All round d-man.

- flyer_nutter

And he's what? Like 6'5 230 already?

Still early to pin point a draft target but there is plenty to like in whatever spot the pick.

Ive heard it's good for depth also. I still think maybe we can sucker a team into giving up a 2nd for briere

First step is getting him to waive the NMC if you can't then any return means nothing.

So where is Brandon manning? Is MAB shut down for the season with concussion issues? Clearly concerned his career is over before it really even started.

You really trust the flyers' ability to develop a Russian defenseman? Might as well pick him and trade him immediately at the draft

He's in the AHL where he belongs. Honestly I didn't think much of him when he came up last year.

They drafted Valeri Vasiliev in the 7th round last year.......No clue if they'll ever see him though.

If the team gets to the point where there are no playoff hopes they should bring players like him up to see how they play.

I liked MAB but all these concussions aren't good. If they haven't they should shut him down for year and see what happens next season.

New lottery rules make both impossible however 14th seed is less than 1% chance of winning lottery.
- bgratch

If there was a way to do it, we would find it. But 14 sounds about right.

Nobody needs a reason to drink let alone for a person who wasn't born in Ireland.

It'd be nice to have a top 5 pick but knowing the depth available I'm fine with not being in that spot. (still hope for a playoff birth)

I hear you, sir. Of course, I'll have my fair (yet responsible) share tonight. Anyways, back to work and back to hockey.

I think he's pretty much at the spot he'll finish at in the rankings, especially since his team isn't making the playoffs.

I just noticed there has been some humour on the Board regarding a dumb spelling I used this morning (which Bill kindly highlighted in his reply).
I believe everyone should be excused some misspellings in this day and age. Am I write or rong?

- strongsupporter

You can come on forums with poor spelling and grammar, but don't expect that not to affect the way people take your opinion. The smarter you seem in communicating, the more likely people are to value your opinion. At least until they get to know you and know what it's worth.
