Well I think expectation is a lot greater in Philly & to say they are going to wave the flag on the playoffs, probably wont sit well. We think we are each morons so at least we can agree on that eh.

But Kev he's the bigger moron if that makes you feel better.

its all good i aint mad

well i get what you're saying...but its just too early to give up on Coots for a rental imo at this rate even if they make the offs their team is kind of in shambles so unless you really think you're a contender i doubt you give up someone with that kind of upside

Hey guys, for those of you interested in prospects, how has JOE MORROW been progressing? I saw a prospect analysis on twitter today via NHL Young Guns Daily (@YoungGunsDaily) that compared Morrow to Kulikov from the Panthers. Is that a good comparison? How do you guys think he will do when he gets to the NHL?

Also, do you think Morrow could be possibly shipped to Calgary in an Iginla package? I would love to see Iggy play with Sid just like in Vancouver 2010!

Thats cool. I just dont consider JBO a rental. He's 29 & is playing great this year under Hartley. Has another year & in that year Homer could probably get him extended. He would leave a huge hole in our D. I would never expect Philly to give up a Coutts for Iggy. Thats why a 1st & a great D prospect would work for Iggy or 2 good D prospects & no picks. The makeup of our team is so out of whack, its a redo. That took Sutter years to (frank) it up like this, the players we want to trade are actually good pieces for teams that have their shat together.

true true it just seems that if Philly isnt gonna make the offs they could check their options in the summer on D without having to give up Couts, i mean this summer alone they could pick up Streit, Regehr, Whitney even Douglas Murray all without having to give up a potential key piece to their future thats why it doesnt add up to me

i guess we'll see

Yes he is but the Pens have an abundance of D prospects...Morrow, Maatta, Pouliot, Harrington, Despres....
The Flames have none.

Agree, obviously more would have to come from our side, not sure what. Your Habitant brother just pissed me off. If I were Feaster I would consider those 2 for Iggy forget the pick. Probably better than a Dupres or Maata & a 1st because f the fact both Montreal prospects are more developed than a raw 1st would be. We need nHL ready youth more than the 1st picks.

I'd love to see iggy in mtl. him and jbo. actually was talking to a friend about the chances of both those playerss going to the north east. its a tough division. in no way can I see iggy go to boston tho. if he has the chance to waive who woulhe rsther play with, malkin crosby neale kuntiz letsng? or the class of the east boston ( enter sarcssm). that being said I think the habs are going to play reacyionary. what ever those 2 teams do we will try and match it. imagine iggy to pitts jbo to mtl.

the whinning from boston and their coaching staff this year is pathetic. I hope iggy doesnt go there.

iggy to mtl I'd offer beaulieu or tinordi, ryder and a 2nd. or jbo for beaulieu/tinordI straight up. maybe add a pick. both players are arguably nhl ready and will be great pieces to build upon.

He stays in Calgary because the organization is dumber than a bag of hammers - period!!

If you talk to Murray Edwards, all he cares about is the bottom dollar & in the case of the sucker Flames' fans, they continue to pack the "Dome" so he's laughing all the way to the bank.

If you talk to Feaster, he'll tell you the same thing Sutter did - we're only a couple of players away from being very competitive OR we're only a few points out of a playoff spot. A few?? You are not leap-frogging 5 teams in front of you so stop with your bullpoop assessments already & simply admit your team sucks, your organization is one of the worst run in the entire league & start a rebuild before you have zero players with zero value.

Wake up already!!

hell no...habs are still really young and our prospect pool is meh with only beaulieu and tinordi as stand outs
hoping our GM doesnt do anything stupid and keeps building upon what we have (like the Ryder trade). Wouldnt mind him adding a big #6 D though like Shane O'Brien

You're tight with old Murray are you? You and Iggysbff hanging at those high level meetings with him? Please then enlighten us on your deep insights on the minds of our ownership because we have no flipping clue...

And since you and Feaster bump nuts, you're miles ahead of all us delusion fans...

Here we go again. Plan the (frank)ing parade we are about to go on a winning streak.
I hope the man with intellectual honesty moves the Captain & proves to Edwards the team will continue to win at this pace & rebuild at the same time. a win streak means the chances of JBO getting traded gets more remote.
