If stan could somehow get buf as has been discussed I could see the hawks using him as some form of hybrid rover who plays all over
first i would have him stay out on power plays the whole time either on point or in front of the net
second l would have him take shifts for the three sets of d men and shifts on the top two lines.
Make the other team nervous never knowing where he is and weather he is going to send you through the boards
Additionally it would get his big a$$ in shape and I would think he would enjoy thae role that he wold play

Yep!! what the phuck Stan! here it is right under your nose if no one else grabs him! plus good faceoff man!
another front, jimmy hayes looked last night that he is a student at the john scott power skating school! what the frick happened to him? i see better skaters in the elite league on sun. morning at johnny's! this kid is supposed to be 1 of our plums!
he makes troy brouwer look like patrick kane on skates!

Hayes is not your kid is he since he kind of reminds me of you when playing except the big slap shot

man that seems like half a century ago, actually close to 35 years ago steve. except we used our knuckles alot more and the refs let us go. sometimes i have a hard time adjusting to this stuff, that is why i find myself drifting over to the east following the bruins & flyers.
i'm tryin to give SB some due , same with Q ( he inherited a team dale built) we'll see. if we get sh it canned and run out of the rink again in the 1st round, i would look hard at a guy like Lindy Ruff & Brian burke to run this team! you will definetly see a team built & play like the bruins & flyers then.
myself, i would absolutely take the leash off danny carcillo & a couple of others! makes you wonder who is really calling the shots here. Q talks tough but why don't his guys play like it?

fair enough! but we were in similar predicaments the last 2 seasons and got rung up by bigger physical teams ( which is what playoff hockey is all about) in the 1st round! 3rd time is a charm or could mean some firings come june??
- wonthecup10

I will say though.....his track record has me preparing for disappointment.

Q has to play to the strengths of the team comprised for him and very physical is not this teams makeup

Did you see him bust his ass early in the 1st
- southernhawk

I know people made comments about him falling and yes he didn't exactly look like Scott Hamilton but I thought I saw a lot of guys losing an edge last night.

which is why another 1st round and out will have the hot seat more than fired up! like I said Brian burke & Lindy Ruff are out there ! If someone points mr cub/chief blackhawk in their direction it could get interesting!

Kane is incredible.

I swear him momentarily losing his handle of the puck in the shootout was done on purpose.

There's nobody I enjoy watching play more than 88.

I think you are correct...that was the plan....

Do you think that Danault is going to skip Rockford this year after his junior season is over, and get some time with the Hawks?

I wonder what it would cost to get Buff back here, but I doubt that the organization wants him back or would pay for him.
- hpk90

It would cost you Sharp's roster spot, or Hossa's since BUFF gets paid in their range. 5.2 mil a little less than the Hossa average.

Or, two roster spots on the present roster...like Bolland & Frolik

Buff makes as much as Bickell, Shaw, Bollig, Mayers, Carcillo, Saad, and Stalberg combined...

Those two passes and PP work look that good?

I just got out of my pool...you enjoy your snow that is coming to east Barrington...

I watch Danault a lot and if he isn't as ready as say, Columbus Boone Jenner who is stronger bigger and more physical, why throw him in to the arena?

More unreasonable suggestions once again. Buff isn't coming to Chicago....

Fellow Hawk fans living in the United States, I am so sorry to hear about your living conditions. I am so happy however that you at least have snow to eat. You sure are a hardy bunch who can overlook your dire living conditions to talk hockey.

I still question why he gets waived right after Vinnie goes on the DL.

Wasn't that Rodman doing the translation?

As far as all the snow, as long as it's not yellow....

Last look, he was dinged up, and not able to play with regularity enough to warrant a major league rodter spot.

Hmmm. I guess a GM wouldn't just waive a useful player (nor would the Hawks pass on picking him up) unless there was a problem. Oh well. But we sure would like his 54% at the dot.
