Hard to imagine we can find so much wrong with a team that has 4 regulation losses in 25 games but they have to get better to be in the conversation of winning it all.

Last year I may have thought the same thing, but krejic signed a new contract and is fulfilling his side of the bargain. Looch at SIX MILLION A YEAR, THATS MORE THAN BERGY SEGUIN AND MARCHAND there top three forwards, I.e. one just won the selke and should have gotten it the year of the cup, but the love fest for Kesler and datsyuk was pathetic, I understand that the magic stick man is amazing and if you want to rename the awarded after him fine, but bergy was on the Stanley cup team with the best GA average and a better plus rating against the better players, and still snubbed, b.s.

Looch is $6 a year to krejic's 5.5? And he is clutch in the playoffs. We have four players that are either or almost a PPG and its bergy, marchy, seugin, and the krejic, hard to argue David is the problem with that line.

Anyways, if you had to trade one of the "top line players", who would it be? I know Horton is an UFA but I would rather sign him at another $4 mil a year deal and bounce Lucic and spooner and maybe a first rounder for iggy and JBO.
That would give us the perfect over the top line-up to almost assure the cup, and if we can get iggy to sign a rechic type deal we would be the favorite next year too!!!

That's a more believable for peverleys line, which that's what they were saying about. A 15 million dollar line should miss the net that much. No just to reel it in a sec, they're a game out of first, they beat most of the teams there supposed to. But clearly there's room for improvement, and the place that clearly isn't pulling their weight is the "top" line. Kejkci gets more pp time, so his numbers are gonna look a little better. He has 15 assists but his linemates have 7 goals.
