I hear you, but (and I'm not authority, just my opinion) I would think if that was the case, he wouldn't have signed so soon after the FA period opened. I'd have to believe he could have made a bit more elsewhere. All reports say the Patriots offered Welker 5 mil per. for 2 years.

Just interesting they'd offer an injury risk more money with more years versus someone they know if good for 100+ a year for the next two. I'd say they know more than I do, so who am I to question, but I think pride got in the way with this move.

Also Ryan Miller will remain a Bruin? Did I miss a trade? My computer is too slow to check TSN but I thought he played in Buffalo still. Unless there are two Ryan Millers. Then the kings want him in the summer? Are they losing Quick? No offense to Miller and I know Quick is having a bad year but Quick is still a top 5 and I think Miller dropped out of that rank last year. Why have a top 10 goalie as a backup when you already have Bernier who has a 1.1 something GAA?

yeah abraham was one of there better defenders but he was getting up there in age. released dunta robinson as well but he was so so and can be replaced i was a lil choked with abraham releasing tho
