The problem is that with Stafford making $4M a year, and having a down year, you're going to be hard pressed to find a return thats above a bottom 6 player. Unless you swap Stafford with a player of his type. A capable top 6 that is not performing or hasnt performed to that level and might need a change of scenery.
I seriously doubt that MN would trade Zucker for Stafford. I find that extremely hard to believe.

if I wanted sporadic play and for goals to come in bunches... I'd keep Stafford around. What are we gonna do with his contract anyway after it expires? Give him an extension at 7.1+M for a 30 year old guy who is breaking down?
