Wes "Shortie" Welker...the Danny Briere of the NFL. Seriously, how has dude survived this long in the league when he is probably smaller than a lot of the teenage kids in the stands.

I hate the Patriots so much. Only they could lose a guy like Welker and then turn around and sign a younger, cheaper Welker. Tom is going to make Amendola a superstar.

They can both do some acting, They should team up with Kesler, Burrows and Lapierre and rock broadway.

Luongo has such a great personality. He's so much more of a fun guy that I ever would have suspected.

We'll let you know when his trade return shakes out: Anthony Stolarz, Taylor Leier, & a 2013 4th Rounder.

It's an old story. At the end of the day he's playing in Columbus, has some time to grow and less media bullpoop. Hope he thrives. Miss him but what are you going to do?

Bob put up .915 sv% and 2.59 GAA as a rookie starter in Philly (while not speaking the language and being able to communicate with his defensemen).
Bob is putting up .921 sv% and 2.11 GAA on one of the worst teams in hockey with his entire top 4 defense out at one point or another.
Bob is only 24 years old, a hard worker, and doesn't complain.

Seems like a candidate for a 9 year 51 mill contract if you ask me. Let's hope he can keep improving. I think I remember hearing while he was in Philly that he had a "low ceiling".

Getting out of Philly and away from Laviolette was the best thing for the kid. In Philly he'd be a career backup because of the coach and GM would never give him the chance to be #1 again so it worked out best for both parties.

Nah, had to stop...once the teachers/profs started getting hip to it, the market dried up
