do i really have to look it up? hes had one season at a 30 g pace...btw and its jsut a matter of opinion. he wouldnt play 1 or 2 line on the habs and that saying something... his 2.5 hit to the flames is a great deal ill give you that for a guy that hit 26 goals last year.

keep on doing what you do b. its fun to play gm once and awhile, and i have no problem with people saying what they have to say with regards to trade preposals. im glad that you can call your self on bad trades or at least show your here for the purpose of this site. get informed, meet peeps have some fun.

its when people take it to seriously or think "they know" that you use your brain to crush them intellegently. after all, we arent feaster, we can only dream for a better flames. hey i love the flames but am a habs fan. ive had my fair share at taking it in the butt for a team i cheer for. finally they are playing great and have good personel. its unfortunate that flames managment doesnt take this seriously, its just a huge let down for the fans... sad really.

Maybe management hasn't made the best moves over the past few years, but I have never questioned their desire to win. The Flames are always a cap team, spending to the max. If anything, their desire to win has caused them to make poor decisions.

So, on to future things; if we managed to draft McKinnon and Barkov (based on my dream proposal earlier), and we move Bill Arnold to the RW we could have future lines looking like:

Baertschi- Barkov- McKinnon
Gaudreau- Jankowski- Arnold

Both smaller B and G would have larger centers and RW. That could be 2 large lines with speed, skill and physicality.

Would they be though? It depends who they would have got, who they would have drafted etc. There aren't too many players out there like an Iginla, he's been with the team for 18 years, captain for as long as I can remember, always leads the team in scoring, always gets 30 goals. IMO you don't trade a guy like this until you are 100% sure it's not gonna work, and this is year we found this out.

You also fail to mention Iggy himself. At the end of the day it's his decision. He has a young family, this is his home, and he will always be a Flame no matter what happens. 2 or 3 years ago he wouldn't go anywhere, he has always wanted to be here, and will always want to win here.

no i wont, like i said b4 its a mater of opinion. ive never like glenx and i think hes lazy. ill agree that his 2.5 is a great deal for potential 30 goals. still i wouldnt want him on my team, and hes not a legit 1st or 2nd on most teams. again imo. the fact he is on calgary illustrates the lack of quality on the team.
