Gardiner would still be down because they need a spot for Lupul - bobbyisno1
Steckel goes on waivers for that spot. |

I still would like to see a trade for a bonfide no 1. I'm getting sick every year going up and down with the goalie and the players as well. But I think if we had that one solid goalie he would help to right the train when the players are off. Reimer and scrivens just don't seem to have that IMO. |

Pay attention to spacing and no j-roots. Replanting sucks! Can turn a 200-300 dollar day into a wasted day the very next day. Which company? I worked with Outland. - mykokes
ive applied to like 7 or 8 today.. Was it easy to get on there? Most applications ask if you know someone who's worked with them before. |

Aside from the first half of the PIT game, which Reimer goofed up(and a game he bounced back very well in) the tending hasn't actually been that bad.
We haven't had them steal us any points, but they've given us a chance to win games.
We can be so brain dead in our own zone though. Especially Dion - AngryWhiteMale
Who was +2 in a 5-2 game. Just throwing that out there.
The top guys are doing their jobs as advertised. The supporting cast is killing us. |

Buddy, I really sucked at tree planting. Every time I tried to go fast, I'd have to replant. It sucked. I really don't miss the treeplanting end of it, just the tent city and numerous girls that went with it. Oh and off days when we went into Thunder Bay.....nothing like meeting the locals or the holdovers from Lakehead.
It paid for university though.

I understand that Carlyle is committed to big, defensive defensemen, but surely there is somebody out there that fits that mould better than Holzer.
Not many players make me long for Komisarek, but he may be one of them. At least Komisarek would come out with something to prove.
And regarding Gardiner, if he doesn't fit in this system, then so be it. But hurry up and trade him then. Either get him in the lineup or use him to help acquire help at centre. - Leeman4Gilmour
Holzer would do better if he wasn't forced to play first-pairing minutes. He was never supposed to be in that position.
Komisarek's bad even when he's playing on a regular basis. Rusty, he scares the crap out of me.
My line has been that we are missing a guy like Gardiner back there. Other teams are able to push our Dmen on the first pass out of the zone because they know the outlet pass is the only way we're going to get a rush started. If they feel the risk of getting burned by a guy like Gardiner then it gives us an option we don't have, and changes the way we're defended against.
Just gaining the blueline and buying a few extra seconds to get setup is key, and we don't do that very well. |

I am him in a disguise.................. jokes In my opinion i feel for Jake, hes probably pissed off cause he knows hes better than the defenders playing, most of them, and who wouldn't be mad when he knows he can help the team? You got guys like holzer who's line is consistently scored on and is a -6, so much for a stay home defender. Id rather have gardiner as a -6 since he brings more to the table. Running 7 defenders is perfectly fine in and out of games, rotating gunner, holzer, kostka whoever is playing hot and cold
EDIT: my BAD hes a -8 - Mapleleafs_91
his line is consistently scored on cause he's playing with Phaneuf against the #1 line every shift...
tough sledding for a rookie.

He has said on numerous occasions that is what he's doing here.
I don't give a rats ass what he did in Anaheim. Here, he's said, repeatedly, he's keeping D on their strong sides.

If I'm Gardiner, I probably tweet something like "I know there was some stuff said by my agent, but I want to make it clear I love helping contribute to the Marlies, working with Eakins, blahblahblah"
Make it clear you want to earn your way up honestly with hard work. Use the controversy and spin it in your favour. - Leeman4Gilmour
If I'm GM I just don't want mouthpieces in my organization. Replace him with a need Reilly coming up....I believe it sends the right message. No one person is above the team |

Dude, it shouldn't be too hard. As long as you look fit. Hell you can even lie and say you worked for one of the rival companies the year before. The guy doing the interview won't be the ones that are up there. Your supervisors up there are mostly guys who did the planting for 4-5 years.

that's the one I worked for. They're pretty reputable, they use to work a lot with Domtar and a few other logging companies when I was up there. They pay a good price for the trees. I wish I could tell you the old message board I used to go to to judge the companies, some do sucl It's cool too because once you get up there, they ask you if you're interested in being a volunteer fire fighter too. |

He has Kessel to thank for that. Y'know, the guy everyone says was one-dimensional, so now we need Corey Perry instead.
Dion got lucky on a couple turnovers I was not thrilled about. He needed to bury on that 5 on 3. Kessel had no shooting lane, and a simple one-timer with traffic in front is how you need to play it. The guy simply cannot hit the net in the same way Franson does.
...As for top guys doing their jobs: there was Grabs missing a chance to make it 2-1 Leafs, instead the Jets turn around and make it 2-1. He's paid money to bank those |
