Pens are rolling, at the top of their game. I have a bad feeling about this one. I hope that I'm wrong!! The Jets need a Habs style beat down, on Saturday night. Then it's our turn to feast on the southeast teams, like the Habs have been doing all year.

i think tomorrow they will bounce back, carlyle will prob be on them for a bad game in winnipeg, and with kessel scoring now, if we can get all three lines rolling again it should be a good game. guessing scrivens might get the call though i'd prefer reimer to be able to stick it out

I agree. Win or lose with Reimer. He's gotten points in both of the other games against the Pens. A loss there, then put Scrivens in, against the Jets. By then Gardiner better be here, or there'll be a Vancouver type response, outside of the ACC!

All I've been doing is jousting with Habtards, after their game, on here and via text messaging. They actually like the idea of Ottawa getting a loser point. They want us out, as opposed to the Sens. Nice to know that they're scared sh!tless, about playing us down the stretch and in the playoffs. Goes to show that their fans are from the same outhouse!

We need all we can, gardiner has to be up here. If that involves putting stecks on waivers do it. Then trade liles and have lupul slotted in since he is not cleared t9 play yet and still needs time

This summer has practically no good centers available under UFA. Who we going to get a 33 year old Ribeiro, 35 year old Mcdonald, Elias at 36 who wont leave the devils?, Weiss is garbage, i know... we can sign antropov again

Weiss isn't garbage, he's been the one standout player on a bad team for nearly ten years. 52.4, 53.9, 53.2. Faceoff percentages over three years spanning back to 09'. Coincidently, his three best years. Last year he made Versteeg and fleischmann look like legitimate first line threats. Yeah, he was having a bad year this year, and is out with wrist surgery. Look at Colbourne, same (frank)ing thing. Now looks beastly in the A. Weiss is a guy who likes to finish his checks and isn't soft. Heart n' soul guy, is a leader and from Toronto.

Out of all the Free Agents this summer, he'd be the most likely to sign/succeed here. If I go after 2-3 free agents this summer, it'll be Perry, Weiss and
Clarkson.

Its not rocket appliances just swap Gardiner for Holzer they both have 2 way deals no biggy

having a 2 way deal has nothing to do with anything, outside of the fact that if they get sent down they make less money. The word 2 way has nothing to do with waiver exemption.

Meh, it'll make our series with them all the more appealing when it happens. If our buds believe in themselves and can get back on track with what has made them successful and up their confidence and compete level in the process, we can be a very dangerous team. This year regardless of where we end up, is a transition year from being a dweller to a team that capable of contention. At least in terms of a playoff spot. We've got a lot of good pieces in place, just 1 or 2 away from being a little more serious. Some patience and development in that respect will do wonders. Playoffs or not, we have played a lot of really good hockey this year =).
