He is Messier type mean. One guy described him as this........ he will do anything to win.

Kotska, Fraser, Komarov, Kadri, Frattin, Orr and Gardiner, he has done some good.

Not everyone has to be scary on defense. Was lidstrom a scary player now. Was pronger, yes. So you make guys who look scary play on their line. Those guys are our future. Guys like holzer kostka fraser probably wont even be around anymore when those guys are set in stone here

Got them prepared to play as Carlyle said, the guy is a good coach and gets a lot out of his players.

He is slowly developing Blacker, Ross and McKegg trying to make them play at both ends.

You seem to place no importance on AHL coaching, but are a critic of Ron Wilson at the same time, what I mean is, to you coaching in the AHL means nothing, but NHL coaching means something. This tied back to your only place to develop guys is in the NHL point of view?

So, just to clarify, where do good coaches come from if they're not coming from the AHL?

Ah so you see about 1/8th of a shift. Forget the fact that he wins draws that turn into goals, makes more passes that enter the opposition zone and is the only one even remotely close to be able to play in his own end on his line. Believe me he's on the ice bc Carlyle like what he sees. No other reason to have him out there.

He may have had a hand in Kadri's development. I'm ok saying that. Not convinced he did much for a solid Frattin.

So basically we have 4 defenders that can play the right side, holzer sucks and has done nothing, kostka played pretty decent but now trails off, franson has been a beast, and we have not seen blacker yet in the NHL, which i want to see. And thus we have a surplus of LD. So Carlyles tactic of having LD and RD in the future, is irrelevant
