@markhmasters: Jets unhappy with how Orr ended fight v Thorburn; considered key point in game http://t.co/QqtEvYheTA (via @garylawless)
WTH is this wussy bullpoop. the POINT is to get your arm loose. - Big_Lightnin
Agreed. If your idea of "fighting" is to grab onto the other guy's sleeve and hang on for dear life, then don't fight.
People "fight" Orr like that because they respect and fear him as a fighter. But he's well within his rights to get that arm free and start wailing away. |

Franson is only a slightly more accurate shooter than Dion statistically. He takes a high volume of shots so you see what you want to see.
Hilarious that some fans can still find a way to fault Dion. - Blazed
He should have fought everybody on the ice and scored a hat-trick to tie the game, all while playing flawless defense for 35 minutes per night.
Any less and he's a bum. And a terrible leader. |

Problem with fighting Orr is that he doesn't care at all about getting punche in the face. Doesn't seem to bother him.
Too bad Laraque still wasn't around that'd be a good tilt.

Laraque was almost too effective as a fighter. Nobody would touch him. |

He's changed his style somewhat - 2 years ago he was straight on and got KO'd twice - he needed to move to the side a bit to avoid becoming like Kyper. |

Listened to Eakins too...I love Eakins - Your_Mom
Agreed, really hope we can hang on to Eakins, but not sure for how long in the minors...guy is getting noticed around the league, not sure how long we can hide him down there
Wow, Jake ever look awkward in press conference, needs to "cut his teeth" a little more if he's gonna survive in the media scrubs, they eat this poor kid alive in the Big Smoke, lol |

Can you believe Orr had the audacity to actually punch somebody?
Somebody could have gotten hurt out there! |

They did have a go and it was kind of disappointing. Laraque never had the hardest punch or the best chin despite being the champ for years. He had some serious strength though and handled most other heavies quite easily.
Laraque wasn't able to put Orr down but Orr could never get going Laraques grip is too strong. |

Handled it pretty well last year, there are others that will do the talking, you don't hear much from Kessel either.
As for Eakins, he has an out next year if a team comes calling, couldn't leave the team this year. |

Yeah I loved it when the Habs used to sick him on Chara.
Didn't have the mean streak though.
His success in his new career as a tv commercial actor is incredible though... Those tech savvy ads are top notch.

Beats whatever the hell he was doing with the Green Party.
Did you hear he wants to make an NHL comeback? |
