It's incredible. If Terry Murray or Stevens had posted a 5-17-1 record vs two divisional rivals, you be screaming for their head, and we'd never hear the end of their ineptitude.

Hey Flyer fans, any need or want for Iginla, Jbo or Giordano?
- whipper334

Giordano for Coburn? I don't know much about Giordano apart from his point totals and cap hit. But I'm really sick of Coburn.

Right because Alexander Daigle scored how many goals and had how many points in junior? Guy didn't have a stellar NHL career by a long shot Big time success in junior doesn't always equal success in the NHL, either scoring or on the defensive side. There are always examples of average players in junior hockey that became bonafide NHL stars too. It works both ways! I wouldn't guesstimate or compare the two until Laughton has played two NHL seasons...

Drafted ahead of some guy named Pronger...bet Ottawa would like to have that one back.

Coburn should be getting better he's in his prime years, unfortunately he's going the wrong way.

Scoring in juniors doesn't guarantee a player will have success at the next level, but there are not very many players who weren't scorers in juniors that suddenly light it up, scoring-wise, at the next level.

I'm not the one saying that Laughton will outscore Couturier as a NHLer.

Daigle could have been an exceptional NHLer. Couturier doesn't have Daigle's lazy streak, neither does Laughton.

Roman Hamrlik

Kidding.

It's Alex Daigle.

he could.

he could also be let go if we lose the next 2 games, in Homer's one final desperate attempt to make the playoffs.

No no no. I guarantee you, there is no way Alexander Daigle can ever be the answer.

Example: Who was picked first overall in the 1993 NHL Entry Draft, dated Pamela Anderson, was detained for making bomb threats, and whose last name is "Daigle?"

The answer: You know, I like kittens.

I would love to see Tortorella with the Philly media.

That said, I don't think any member of the Philly media is as obnoxious as Larry Brooks.

Probably unless they completely collapse. Lose 5 of the next 6 or something like that and Lavy is gone. Either way, barring an amazing comeback he won't be here next year.
