That's my biggest issue. You have Schenn and Grossman, instead of Pronger and Carle. Change the system. Tweak the system. There is nothing but aggressive stupidity.

Just a personal thing but I always believed in a system that played to your strengths.

Not in a system that hid your weakness. That is playing not to lose.

I've seen this comment not only from you, but others.... when exactly did they stop "going with youth"? Are we talking about the Pronger trade or other things? They haven't exactly been trading from Adam Oates, Tony Amonte, etc. since 2007.

Signing someone better requires more Cap space. He was signed to be a part time player. The incompetent GM didn't have that crystal ball you spoke of earlier to know that Meszaros would get hurt in the off season.

I am not Holmgren, and do not have his contacts, but I find it a little hard to believe the best he could do was Luke Schenn, Foster and Gervais.
