I second this recommendation. Rothfuss is fantastic. Eagerly waiting the third installment.
- BoomGoesTheCoburn

Yupper. I'm rereading the 1st book right now.

I'd reread Dune again, but Frank Herbert would is probably getting angry at me for drooling over his books again and again and again...

And I'm more than a little surprised at how many here have read and like Rothfuss. But then again, after the D&D talk a while ago, I guess I shouldn't be.

I would do it now. When the Flyers did it in 2006-07, it led to a shootout win and we NEVER get those.

A tight leash? I don't really see how he bears any responsibility
- Just5

1) He hired the failing coach.
2) He assembled the players on the roster that are failing to make the playoffs.
3) This is Philadelphia. Everyone gets blame.

Thanks. By the time I get to them, I'll probably forget who recommended them - and on what website I was.

As long as you put your pants on, it's all good.

edit: that was funny in my head, but now it just looks odd. Still, I'm going to leave it up...for history and whatnot.

Yea. But they could do it now. Bomb the next couple of games then Murray would have some tape to go off of
- Just5

Murray won't need any tape to go over.

just looking forward to the new coach, trading the vets for youth and picks, and maybe a new gm leading up to 3 to 5 years of rebuilding.

good times!

For the record I love Rothfuss but have never played DnD.

It had to be said.

- Just5

I think he made at least one huge mistake.

When the Flyers agreed to terms last season with Nick Grossmann, they eliminated the possibility of re-signing Matt Carle at a "below market value" contract.

Grossmann would likely have come at a similar cap hit to what he signed for had the Flyers waited, but as soon as wideman was signed, Carle was gone

Game of Thrones, like everyone else. But his story is starting to wear thin on me because nothing is wrapping up, and instead George keeps introducing new characters and storylines.

Still, when book 6 comes out in 12 years, I'll devour it like I did all the rest.

My other favorite author is Mark E Rogers. He's from Newark, Delaware. I can reread Zorachus and The Nightmare of God over and over again. If you like dark fantasy, you'll love his stories.

Absolutely.

People always blame the wolf first...
