I would love for someone to confront Kostitsyn about quitting on that play and hear what he has to say, even if it's through a translator, but there's no one in our softball media who will even ask the question.

What bothers me the most is that Trotz will probably put him right back out there on Tuesday. Some young guy is going to sit for Kostitsyn's lack of heart, brains and compete level. I can handle losing, but I don't like losing like this.

He was done and asking for a change. Total brain cramp. I'm sure in the room he said the loss was totally on him. I'm not defending him but he, while playing shtty like the rest of the vets, is hardly responsible for how bad this team sucks.

The team didn't have a bad game tonight. What Kostitsyn did was inexcusable. Either because he quit or because he was so incredibly unaware of the game situation that he just hung his goalie out to dry. Either way, it's indefensible, and it cost the team at least a point. They played well tonight.
