I put ain't since I was talking to a Calgary fan. Isn't that what you say in Mountains of Canada?

I don't think Iggy lands in Boston. Not too worried about that one. You, on the other hand, better be very worried. You don't get the good return on him, along with some of your other veterans that need to be dealt, your franchise will be Edmonton very soon.

I bet you did. Yeah the mountains are great. But I bet they can't hold a candle to the smog of steel town.

As far as Edmonton goes, aren't (whoops) ain't they very similar to the Pens a few years ago? Hmmmm....

Did I say your team needed him? No! But I guarantee that the Pens wouldn't want him on the B's. and I have no idea about the return but he should go and try to win a cup.

He should have down that years ago. The Flames have been spinning their wheels for years.

No. Look at it from sid and halls first years. Sids 2nd year we were a playoff team. The next year in the finals. Cup the next year. How's Edmonton doing on that progression? Still have no goaltending, no real defense and their forwards are still soft and inconsistent. Edmonton done if wrong in my opinion. Goalies and d take linger to develop yet they've loaded up on forwards. Pens got orpik Whitney and fleury first. Then once the bottom really fell out got malkin and staal with the stroke of luck that was Crosby in between.

WOW. Just finished watching the game on my DVR....and with that knowledge, I enjoyed reading the comments...this was sure a grumpy bunch around page 6

All kidding aside, great win for the Pens. The Bruins played a good road game, but the Pens were the better team from the 2nd period onward...and kudos to them for continuing to press a Bruins team that was obviously just trying to hang on for dear life.

"Steel Town" was once again recently named the most liveable city in the US by Forbes...no smog here.

Sorry "he should have DONE that years ago. The flames have been spinning their wheels for years." Or if you prefer the treading water analogy that works too.

Whatever you gotta do to entertain yourself in a other season of beig stagnant and front office denial. Who's the Jiri Hudler of 2013?

, that place went downhill. If I want to see a bunch if butter faces walking around half naked, I will drive 20 mins to the beach
- drummer829

Maybe in Pittsburgh dude. In Calgary there isn't a butter face in the bunch but they are half naked.

That was a solid (frank)ing win. That is a very good team in Boston, the boys showed a lot of resolve tonight. Khudobin was an absolute stud. Sutter

Boston will be there in the end, hopefully we join them because that has all the ingredients a classic 7 games series needs.

Also, Malkin changes that game, but Boston didn't close the way they usually do. Would be such a sweet ECF...

Yep. Boston didn't disappoint. Solid team there...best team the Pens have played this year.

One of the best games the Pens have played this year, and yes I would have said that if they lost 2-0.

Also, one of the best coached games this year.

Would have been easy to panic and change things up but the chances were there and they stuck with it. Very impressive.

Also loved seeing the Rangers lose to the Sabres. Not doing much with those games in hand.

The night that Crosby had 5 assists against the Islanders, that was the second game of a back to back. Playing the night before is not a valid excuse.

Dupuis continues to be one of the Pens MVP's, that guys motor is always on high... Stick skills are lacking but as long as he keeps going to the net,
He is such a bargain and a great player to have.

Not feeling this, especially when the names of Morrow and Nystrom are being mentioned as DEPTH players. If we are trading Despres to Dallas, it better be in a package for Louie Erickson.

So I was wrong about SIDS stats but had the score right. He deserved a point he was awesome. Not sure why hcdb refuses to coach but getting match ups is part of your job. Biggest takeaways were 1. Bennett is really good he works extremely hard away from the puck. You can't see it on tv as well. 2. The 4th line does absolutely does nothing for me.

"But in my mind, I don't think there's any question Sidney Crosby is the best all-around player in the game. His hockey sense is so strong and so solid, combined with his God-gifted talent of being able to see the ice, see the entire picture in front of him. And, most importantly, I don't care how good you are, if you don't have a work ethic, it doesn't matter. There's no question that each and every game, he's one of the hardest-working guys on the ice. In my mind, he's the best player in the game today."

--Wayne Gretzky

I'm going to take his word over Laviolette's and quit referring to Giroux as the best player in hockey now. that still cracks me up.

5 of the 6 games in the winning streak have been by 1 goal. Thanks Islanders.

Also: Does it really feel like the Pens have won 11 of 14? That's a heck of a run for a team that has finally put two quality games together.
