I just want Despres permanently stuck with Letang as a D pairing. Hopefully after the Pens clinch a playoff spot, Bylsma will realize they have nothing to lose and consistently start Despres
- drummer829

I just dont get it either, it wasnt like letang had the same 'reputation' coming up as a 2nd rounder, at least I dont remember. I dont see why he keeps on protecting Despres, if we need him in the playoffs, well he is going to fail due to not being ready for the extra speed and contact he would get from playing teams like the Bruins.

Thank god the Pens won... I couldn't have stomached Roenick and Milbury anymore. They were all over Boston tonight saying how they were the much better team.

We held all the offensive zone time, controlled the shots and the pace of the game, and out hit them, but because we couldn't get any bounces Boston was the better team?

It could've been easily been 6-2, their goalie was standing on his head.

All things said I wasn't really impressed by Boston... Anybody else agree? Defensively they looked good, but like I said we didn't get ANY bounces in the first two periods.

Milbury and Roenick are the reason you have a mute button on your remote.

I think Boston looked a little gassed in the second half of the game, but credit to the Pens for taking it to them for the last 2 and never giving up.

I really think that game was in the top 2 or 3 for the Pens this year. Real good play in all 3 zones.

Julien sat back way too early. The team itself is extremely good

You have to be impressed with that PK. We didn't have any room whatsoever.

Offensively, no doubt Boston needs Iggy over us.

Milbury and Roenick...shouldve eneded the sentence there lol. If shero can bring in a couple bottom line guys and bylsma put in despres and geno back and healthy were looking strong.

They are really good.

I still say Sid is a bad matchup for Chara. No need for Bylsma to avoid that matchup.

The fact they have been rumored to be calling around on four players, maybe they aren't too keen on what they heard about the cost of Iggy for a rental. I don't think there will be too many suitors when all is said and done for Iggy.

Yeah okay buddy! If Iggy waives you watch. I thought you were a little smarter than that.

It's not the 90's anymore, not as many GM's are willing to cripple a team for a rental. Lets face it as soon as Iggy's season is done he will resign in Calgary and teams know this.

Dude, we don't need Iggy. If you watched any Penguin hockey, you would understand. We have other needs. He is a rental, nothing more. I think very few will be interested in the end. To be honest, I think you are going to be very disappointed in the return. Your GM is a moron and will butcher it. Just watch.

In truth, Sid is a bad matchup for anybody right now. Chara was sucking wind there and credit to the Pens for hitting him every chance they got.

I think a more potent second line would make things harder for the Bruins, so with Geno back in the line up later in the year, it will make for an interesting game. Shame he is out for the close rematch
- walshy66

Sutter would do fine as the second line center. He's better suited to fill in that slot in Malkin's absence than Jeffrey.

Did I say your team needed him? No! But I guarantee that the Pens wouldn't want him on the B's. and I have no idea about the return but he should go and try to win a cup.

We ain't giving up the farm for a rental that we don't need just to keep him away from Boston. Everyone knows he is going to leave the place he is traded to and high tail his ass back to Calgary and resign as a free agent.

What a game! Both teams played exceptionally. The resolve of the Pens was just that much better at the end. Tip of the cap to the Bruins for playing the tightest game against us I've seen this year.

I think he is especially bad for Chara because of foot speed and agility. It also helps that his center of gravity is so low. Makes it super tough on a slower moving tall player.

"We ain't" we "aren't" may be slightly more appropriate.

Just like Iggy on the B's might put them over the top! But only "slightly"

I put ain't since I was talking to a Calgary fan. Isn't that what you say in Mountains of Canada?

I don't think Iggy lands in Boston. Not too worried about that one. You, on the other hand, better be very worried. You don't get the good return on him, along with some of your other veterans that need to be dealt, your franchise will be Edmonton very soon.
