They'll only wear them in for the warm up. I think they auction them off. - madmike71

This is just garbage... Engelland and Orpik better be hammering Lucic and Krejci |

The thing that annoys me is that Despres isn't some kind of fragile p*ssy. He is actually very good using his body to separate the opposition from the puck. |

exactly. he has a very large frame, and he honestly hasnt appeared too hesitant to use it. i say what better team to try it against than the bruins. let him learn against lucic now in march. he could be vital come may |

He's been the top one or two of our D in the physicality department. God forbid we use one of our biggest D against a big team. Mind numbing.... |

Paul Martin with a nice defensive play on Lucic and then some shake and bake at the other end. |

An often-overlooked part of Despres' game, he uses his frame extremely well. |

The consistency excuse is poppycock. Despres is no less consistent than Engelland, Bortuzzo, Orpik, Martin and even Letang. |

I agree, pure B.S. from the coaching staff. Either something is going on behind the scenes of which we're not aware or Bylsma has lost his mind. |

Disco mentioned something in his last post game. He said something about he thought the team was good "except for one hiccup". I thought that was lame because obviously the one hiccup was on Despres. No need to mention that....the team has had TONS of hiccups, why pick on the kid. |

The only other explanation of which I can possibly follow for the healthy scratches is their hope to avoid a significant increase in his contract after his entry-level deal expires after next season?
Admittedly, this is not a great line of reasoning especially since Despres in the line-up give us our best to chance to win. Thus, I'm just tossing out ideas because I'm perplexed. |

Truthfully he was probably talking about giving up the 1 goal as a generality not to pick on Despres. |

So 3 shifts for Crosby, Chara on the ice for each I believe?
It would behoove Byslma to keep Crosby away from Chara and Bergeron, especially with having last change. |

I watch a lot of his post games... He's loath to say something like that. Maybe I'm nit picking, but I don't like the way he's handling Despres.
Our 4th line is brutal..... |

It seems easy in theory but Chara plays 25 minutes a night and Bruins will make live line changes to get that matchup. |

Oh yeah. Hope people wake up and see that we lack toughness. We are getting killed right now. This team sure could use Iginla and a d-man. |
