Game 2 actually but who was in front of the net on Hoss's goal? I'll let JJ answer that one. - blackhawk24
Lukas Krajicek?
What about him? |

They are probably trying to see if he can be that physical lower line guy they have been looking for. Also doesn't hurt that he is a "higher profile" Stanley find. Those guys get moved along faster.
And if I'm Ben Smith or Jeremy Morin, I want out of this organization ASAP. - John Jaeckel
>Hayes skating on second line with Kane and Bolland this am
>Agree -- if I am Morin -- I want out NOW
>Just don't see Hayes > Morin, especially for Sharp's replacement
>Q may just be looking and ultimately Hayes could wind up on line 4 |

I wouldn't mind Nathan Horton here always like that Guy....and he seems to be over his concussion there's a power forward that can play top 6 no problem |

Per Hockeyinsiderr
Looks like the Bruins don't want to extend Horton. He'll either be traded or hit the FA market in the summer. Going to be a deep draft followed by a deep free agency. - teh_HAWKZ
Why would you think this has any basis in truth, much less re-post it?

JJ...it sounds like you really disagree with Stan recalling Hayes over Smith, Pirri or Morin. Was the decision really that bad? In reality none of these guys will be a super star and at best they'll provide some lower line depth.
I agree that Pirri is destined for another organization. I hope for his sake he gets a shot at the NHL and if Stan can include Pirri in a package to bring back a solid return then it's a win/win. - DarthKane
I would have brought up Smith. I think he can help more and in more ways with the hawks. and he has done more to earn the promotion.

You could say the same about Saad or Shaw as well.
I'm probably off base here but if Stanbow tells Q "I can give you Hayes, Pirri, Morin, Smith right away" then it becomes Q's choice short term because I'm sure he has watched all of these kids play. - RickJ
I don't think it works quite that way— I think it is a little more of a here's the guy we want to bring up. I'm sure Q is consulted. I'm sure he sees none of those guys, including Hayes, as being huge factors either.

Yep - merely about what to do until Sharp comes back. Then resume with his regularly scheduled programming. |

As a person who wanted to see Saad moved down to Kane's line I have no problem with Hayes being put in that spot. To me, keeping the 3rd line together is such a plus. If Hayes can grind along the boards and give that line some grit, then everything should be hunky dory.... (David Bowie's second best album........maybe third.) |

That's a tough one....
Have to keep in mind the Hogs aren't a team full of All Stars...albeit young but not a playoff team.
A guy like Smith that is on a 1 way deal next year...Same as with Bollig means decsion time.
Pirri is viewed as top six AHL player but evidently not in Chgo..... |

Olesz wasn't cleared to play until now, he was injured....So to be bought out Olesz would have to clear waivers, which will happen. Also has to clear waivers to play in Rckfrd. |

He's been in the IR since the beginning of the season, they're putting him on waivers to send him to Rockford. I'm sure he'll be bought out in the summer now that he's healthy. |

How is Hayes gonna chase the puck when Bolland fails to win a draw and get up the ice when Kane is skating real fast? |

That would be incorrect, the only adavantage Bollig has is less concussions. |

very much disagree.
Eager brings everything to the table Bollig does + experience, skill, and hockey sense |

I disagree. Eager is an idiot that wasn't allowed more than 8 minutes of ice time while Bollig (when not fighting) shows some hockey sense, a better shot and I think could eat just as many if not more minutes if deployed more often. Bollig can also level someone with out putting them in the hospital or getting a stupid penalty. He also isn't a complete moron in his own zone like Eager is. |

Don't mistake this version of Ben Eager for the 2009-2010 Ben Eager, much different players right now. |

No reason to buy him out now in my eyes. They will use the buyout in the summer when it becomes available.
