What exactly are you trying to say here Burn? Still drunk?

What stats are you looking at? Why are you comparing Steen to Crosby?

- systemtool

I was trying to understand this myself....

with Steen more productive than Crosby.

Globe and mail article. Some guy wrote an analytical paper about advanced statistics. Says that because the Leafs give up too many shots and their shooting % is too high they we ging to have a rough ride in the 2nd half. Paper says leafs aren't one of he better offensive teams and are living off exceptionally high shooting%, it cannot continue.

It seems to ignore that the leafs over several years were a good offensive team and that their pp and pk has improved from the 1st half to the 2nd.....

As for steen vs Crosby, another analytical advanced stats paper says that steen is most productive player the last 2 years.

They'll decide to go for the big pay day and try and sue the Panthers organization, only to learn that they would of made more money suing the AHL'er

Crosby had 30% more points in 50% less games, but because steen took more faceoffs and had more blocks and hits over that time he's more productive - advanced stats.

Why are people saying Gunner has been terrible? He hasn't been that bad... jeez the guy is throwing himself in front of slap shots.

Is there anyway the Leafs could move Grabo? I like him.. but I would rather keep Mac.

Many people are fingering Clowe, but the guy I would love to get would be Clarkson from the Devils. Hopefully through trade or free agency in the summer.
- systemtool

Would love to get Clarkson!
Can't see the Devils trading him or not resigning him, to valuable to the team.

Why do these idiots throw their careers away so easily.

just because he's a Panthers prospect, it doesn't mean he threw his career away. It's not like players can choose the team that drafts them.

Nevermind,
I missed the part about being arrested.

So you want to trade almost 30 pts and two players under 30 for 8pts and a player just under 31?

Makes sense

Unless Clowe is a cheap rental player....forget about him.

So we trade Mac and have Bozak, McClement, Kadri and Stecks as our centers?

Because everyone knows this team should be more worried about their wingers than their need for centers. Silly pants.

Was it Mike Gillis or a Canucks fan that came up with that ratings system?

It looks like Nonis isn't to concerned about trading anyone...He seems to think he'll have no problem resigning Mac and Bozak if the Leafs decided to go that route during the off season...

I heard that, and dont understand that.

We should be trying to move on from those two this summer...I hope Nonis doesn't sign them, but im hearing/reading otherwise. Time to move on from these guys. Find younger and cheaper replacements in our own system and see what happens in the UFA market. Im saving money and roster space and going balls out to sign Clarkson and Perry this summer, If I were Nonis.

Toughness, skill, leadership, size, playoff experience all from two guys.

Huh?

I said trade Grabo not Mac. So you end up with Bozak, Kadri and McClement and Steckel. Usually when the word trade is mentioned, one assumes a player is coming back... I would assume it would be for another centre no..... silly pants!
