Beating Winnipeg twice would sure help secure the playoff spot this week... One more team that would 9 points out..... I think Ottawa and NJ(even with Brodeur) can fade

But I am not convinced Philly is done...

It should be. I would be less optimistic if we were 8th and the team behind was 5 points back with no margin for error.

Very well said. The Jets are the team knocking on the door. Rangers will probably finish 5th in the conference, and the Sens and Devils could fade, but taking 3-4 points from the Jets would be huge and almost put all fans at ease of a playoff spot. Big week ahead. If they tank this week, then we can start worrying...

Many people are fingering Clowe, but the guy I would love to get would be Clarkson from the Devils. Hopefully through trade or free agency in the summer.

I just hate being a leaf fan. I'm so used to disappointment that I am just waiting for it and then I look at the schedule and see this weeks games against Winnipeg and this could be one of the biggest weeks of the season for them.

Agreed, I wonder what the cost would be for each with Clowe tanking and Clarkson careering

I like starting Lupul with Minimal ice time to get back to speed but I would not mind seeing JVR back with Grabo and Kulemin (He was scoring with them too) Macarthur seems to have chemistry with Kadri
That leaves Komorov and Mclement on our checking line

I analyze the standing every night and keep wondering.... man I think were playing real well how can we be only 1 point up on Winnipeg if they sweep us....

leafs are gonna make it this year I think, so long as the goaltending doesn't implode...

I really feel like the Sens are going to keep grinding out points right to 9th place..which kinda sucks...stache as them believing they can win every night and the goaltending is keeping them in games...will be interesting to see how it plays out

would rather keep bozak over grabo. one of kuli/mac needs to be moved alone with liles. komi can be dumped for a 6th rounder to a team making a run looking for depth on the blue line. could easily get 3rd C in return + 2nd rounders or a 1st in a package.
